Another Possible Link Emerges Between Top Obama Official And "9/11 Truther" Movement
ABC News ^ | 9/4/09 | Jake Tapper

Posted on 09/04/2009 8:19:02 AM PDT by Laissez-faire capitalist

While an administration official told ABC News that controversial White House official Van Jones signature on a 2004 petition suggesting that the Bush administration let 9/11 happen in order to justify war was because he did not carefully review the language in the petition, another link between Jones and the Truther Movement has emerged...

... in March 2002, a march in San Francisco was called to demand a congressional inquiry into 9/11. Jones was on the "organizing committee."

And look at some of the questions this delegation said that they were going to ask:

Did the CIA have foreknowledge of the attacks?

Who was actually in control of the "hijacked planes?"

What is the relationship between Bin Laden and Bush?

Who funded, trained and equipped Al Qaeda?

More wacky question, too.

The White House is going to try and spin this as a bad vetting job. Riiiight. Sure.

And Van Jones is not the man that Obama knew, along with Wright and Rezko?

Obama said to judge him by those he associates with.

Ayers, Wright, Pfleger, Van Jones...

And on and on it goes...

So now he’ll claim that not only didn’t he realize what he was signing, he also didn’t realize what he was organizing. If this weren’t so deadly serious, it would be hilarious.

Hard to believe ABC reported this. Guess they decided in commmittee that if they failed to report, word of that might leak out, eh? I’m surmising that, alas, there was not much satisfaction at ABC in presenting such negative information.

Jake’s decent sometimes. I used to hate him when Bush was in office.

However, I am starting to realize that he just in general is tough on politicians perhaps and that explains it.

Because many of his posts have been critical of Obama just like he was of Bush.

Van Jones Supported a Cop-Killer; Van Jones Says “Kanye Was Right”
—Gabriel Malor

Slublog does the research that the Obama Administration couldn’t be bothered to do and turns up some obvious warning signs that Van Jones was a nutjob.

First, in 1999 he organized a protest in support of convicted cop-killer Mumia Abu-Jamal. I can’t find a link to the article (let me know if you find one), but it ran in the October 9, 1999, San Francisco Chronicle on page A17 under the headline: “Timing of Protest is Suspect; Mumia supporters disrupt youth event”. The meat:

A supporter of a Pennsylvania death row inmate denied that demonstrators were trying to upstage a long-planned dialogue between Oakland police and local youth Thursday night.

[...]

Supporters of Mumia Abu-Jamal, a death row inmate convicted for the 1981 shooting death of a Philadelphia police officer, said the protest was called after the Supreme Court on Monday rejected claims that Abu-Jamal, a former radio journalist and Black Panther, did not receive a fair trial.

“We knew there was another event going on, but the timing of the court decision is what dictated when the protest was held,” said Van Jones, a San Francisco civil rights lawyer who helped coordinate the protest march.

Jones said about 15 protesters occupied the rotunda at the Federal Building on Clay Street in an act of civil disobedience with the hope they would be arrested.

Yes, the “Green Jobs Czar” hoped to be arrested and ruined a planned event for cops and kids. In Oakland, where they probably needed that stuff badly.

Second, in November 2005, the East Bay Express noted Jones’ appearance at a conference for environmental radicals:

By the time the final speaker addressed the crowd, people shuffled restlessly in their seats as a lone infant wailed. Van Jones, a tall, dark-skinned man wearing a “Kanye was right” T-shirt under his black blazer, seemed to have little in common with his audience of predominately white hippies.

What will emerge is this, in my estimate:

That the hardworking, apolitical FBI, Secret Service, and others turned up questionable things in all these whacko guys and gals background's during the hiring and vetting processes--heck even WE can Google and get the goods on these Marxists, but at the end of the day THE PRESIDENT HIMSELF or somebody VERY VERY SENIOR in the White House (Rahm Emmanuel?) overruled it, instructed people to look the other way, swept it under the rug, and said they are his friends and let them get hired anyway--not thinking that once again and Army of Davids would topple this order.

SPEAK TRUTH TO POWER, BROTHER!!

This is going to lead to Van Jones II, next week, and Van Jones III the week after that. This is going to stretch out all into November, with loser after loser, security risk after security risk, being shown the White House north gate exit.

In the aftermath, I CALL FOR A CONGRESSIONAL INVESTIGATION.

Their tracking polls show them, analyzing coast-to-coast viewership, they will lose even more of an audience in droves if they dont start being responsibile and reporting the news and stop giving Obama this 100% idolizing pass on everything. At the end of the day, it is viewership. They see Fox and the internet soaring, and see these Tea Parties taking off. I think CBS and NBC will be late to table. CNN may never get there, they are so Bolshevist. Heck even Bob Beckel said the guy is BAD NEWS and is a big mistake and needs to be ushered OUTTA THERE.

One thing I will enjoy is Van Jones back in Berkeley mouthing off about the cracker-controlled Obama Administration to high heaven if he gets canned, really riling up the extreme left wing. That skinhead haircut and nice European suit never did fool me. The guy looked much more natural in a Che T Shirt and with a red Hugo beret.

Since it is obvious the Jones was vetted by the Secret Service and the FBI, as are all White House employees, SOMEBODY high in the Obama administration must have overruled the vetting and ordered his hiring. Whoever this person this is, he too must go! We must demand an investigation to root out these radicals before they do more damage.

but it will be a tactical and psychological victory for our side, and open up the line for us to attack even more of his questionable nominees and keep this thing brewing all the way into the 2010 elections, causing Obama’s numbers to dive even more. this is significant.

I think Obama is pi/sing a bit down his pant legs at this time, because it may well point to him personally, with the dossier of evidence on this Czar, pre-hire, and still hiring him regardless. At the White House, this shows either incredible structurally incompetent, managerial ineptitude, OR, they are soul mates on the same sheet politically. It will be interesting to have the President explain to us, which of the two it is.

What a ruined vacation. Sucks to be him.

I agree this is very significant, especially with another SCOTUS opening on the horizon. Moonbats like this will make it near impossible for Zero to nominate people like Cass Sunstein and Alcee Hastings. It also gives great political cover for Republicans to assail these people - and other Marxist candidates - as “Van Jones” repeats, without sounding paranoid.

It goes very well with the warnings several of us were posting last year before the election:

Six months into the Obama administration, it should now be clear to all Americans: Hope and Change came to the White House wrapped in brass knuckles.*
