I was working with such an 'independent' last year (notice the single quotes?) who told me he was going to vote for Zero because he had been convinced he was going to be a fiscal conservative compared to GWB. I believe such susceptibility to Democrat indoctrination and misinformation should be honestly criticized and condemned. Failing to do so may condemn us in the future.

Now, both of my friends are well educated, have good jobs,are not far left-wingers, and live decent lives. They are not slackers but producers. Yet they just cannot understand the fear of Obama, the connection with socialism, and the people who are marching against the HC bill, etc.
No matter how hard I try, they are like naive little children who do not want to hear anything bad about "Daddy." I have, over the past year, watched and listened very carefully how they rebuff me. Never with a true fact or something they researched. Always they repeat something they heard on the Today show (yes!) or...they resort to some emotional response. (i.e. poor women with too many kids needs help and health ins. And also should have right to abortion if pregnant because of rape...sob, sob, etc.)
I believe this is the typical Democrat. Not the extreme...but the ones who are at home, believing the world would be a better place, if we just "made nice," and went about our daily business without a care in the world. And, let the government help everyone who is not as fortunate so they don't have to worry about their neighbor at all.
Now don't flame me for having democrat friends.
