President Barack Obama's plans for a televised back-to-school address to students next week are drawing fire from some conservatives, who say he's just trying to indoctrinate them to his political beliefs.

In the Sept. 8 speech, Obama will challenge students to work hard, set goals for their education and take responsibility for their learning, Education Secretary Arne Duncan said in a letter to principals.

The Education Department is encouraging teachers to create lesson plans around the speech, using materials provided on the department website, that urge students to learn about Obama and other presidents.

-- Recall that the only executive experience Obama had was as CEO of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, where he worked closely with Bill Ayers in wasting millions (in the $100+ million neighborhood) on various indoctrination schemes that according to a U/Chicago study, yielded no discernable results

. -- Recall his shutdown of Charter School access for the kids of DC (who desperately need charter school options).

-- Recall that his experiences with the "educational community" in the failed Chicago School District brought him to cooperation and partnership with doctrinaire leftists like Bill Ayers and his brother as well as Maoist (yes Maoist) Klonsky. For awhile in the 1990's, Bill Ayers, Klonsky and Obama shared an office on South Sangamon Street (the building was demolished this past year).

My sister-in-law is a 2nd grade teacher (20 years) in a conservative district is receiving tons of complaints. Most of the teachers in this district are conservative and are opting out if they can. Our district is receiving tons of flack. If I had school aged kids, (they are all grown adults now), I’d be keeping them home and trying to figure out how to afford private or homeschooling options.

The white house has to acknowledge the public's complete support for arms. Reports have said the Americans are more armed than the entire Chinese Army. Bambi and his goons know this. This is way beyond Y2K. This is way beyond anything they've ever dreamed upon and weren't prepared for. They thought we'd roll over and accept it. They didn't take into consideration 'Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness' and that Americans really took that to heart. They didn't anticipate liberty meant LIBERTY!
