I know he’s a liberal who looks down on conservatives - but of the network 3 - he’s the best. With great reluctance, I’ve started watching him again...
anchor might be an apt description.
Sawyer—My god how old is she? She’s a 70’s relic. If she’s the best ABC can come up with it ain’t sayin’ much.
Common sense would suggest they start employing and grooming younger people to act as demrat shills. But what do I, a simple retired soldier, know?
Maybe, but it might also be due to the lack of young stars in the stable. Nobody watches anymore, so might as well put the last matriarch on.
So what. I never watch ABC news. Replacing one liberal with another and a drunk to boot, is not newsworthy.
You got a source on that?
CAT FIGHT!
This is just a prelude to shutting down the news divisions completely.
network evening news is irrelivant. EVERYTHING on those shows is old news, there is no “breaking news” on the evening news.
I think they will go more tabloid TV and then just fade away.
Good! Charlie Gibson lost it in his ‘performance’ with Sarah Palin. He sat there in his chair like a misogynist donkey’s behind shaking his foot and looking over his glasses in boredom. Then of course he had half her answers edited out.
As far as replacing him with Diane Sawyer, it seems that the commie press and THEIR old oligarchy is as bad as the The New Party commies in Congress.
Bah humbug. Haven’t looked at their news in years.
I remember her as a weather girl on one of our stations in Louisville, and I was a very little kid.
I watched ABC News at one time, before the days of cable TV. I used to like Harry Reasoner, Howard K. Smith and Frank Reynolds. These were class acts. There are no more like them.
Not my concern. I don’t care who the networks put in the anchor seat - I’m not watching. Stick with FOX. FOX is the only one who reports the consistent truth.
Hope Chuck is OK, but AMF anyway.
Why do any of you ever watch any network news? Why lend the slightest bit of view support to the GCM?
You don’t have to get rid of your TV, but try and use it only for decent stuff and view the net or read instead.
Better yet, spend more time with your family and friends with the TV turned off.
We have friends who always have the TV on when we are there..you just can’t get them to turn it off. It actually drives the retired man out of the house during the day, since his wife is a lib. She goes crazy when she visits us because we have not tv in sight of visitors. We actually talk to our visitors and focus on them and events.
That’s a great graphic!
It gives me hope for America.
Between her and Katie, this hands the alphabet network news title to old “Twisted Face” (Brian Williams) by default.
