Obamarama . . .
Back in town: White House political strategist David Axelrod and wife, Susan, hit the Gene Siskel Film Center Sunday night for a screening of the film "Radical Disciple: The Story of Father Pfleger" -- followed by a dinner at Petterino's eatery accompanied by a low-key Secret Service detail.
Background: The film was Axelrod's baby. He began the documentary about the radical South Side Catholic priest eight years ago, before turning over the project to filmmaker Bob Hercules in order to focus on another project: President Obama.

Axelrod’s in town - Chicago ping.
Axelrod and his wife have Secret Service Protection?
Why?
Thanks.
Glad you caught that.
Why, indeed?
Ebert gives it 3 stars:

I don’t know much about Axelrod, but this canonization of Father Pfleger suggests that Axelrod is another radical leftist.
Father Pfffffffffffffffffleger is an abomination
to the Catholic Church and to God. How he can be
allowed to administer his bastardized brand of
Catholicism and fuel the fires of racial hate by
the Cardinal is simply beyond me.
Ebert is a far-out liberal.
Your characterization is right on.
I hear you and don’t understand it either.
Yep and he’s towing the line.
Cardinal George has received death threats.
Pfleger is tied to the gangs and other criminal elements in Chicago.
Connect the dots.
