Everytime I have gone to D.C. I never actually stayed IN the city itself. I Usually just go to Bethesda and take the Metro in. The most I’ve ever spent on a hotel room down there was about $80. Though that was about 4 or 5 years ago.

I really disagree with the designation of "Comrade", but I've been virtually told off. I have NEVER heard Glenn Beck use it and it is very offensive to someone like me who lived through the cold war.

It's a form of address and that means "communist" according to Merriam Webster.

What do all of you think? It's the communist definition that I don't like! And it is one of the definitions according to Merriam Webster dictionary.

You've never heard Glenn use the word COMRADE??? Did you just start watching recently?
It was used ‘tounge-in-cheek’ when he first started documenting Our Country's road to socialism/fascism/communism (or as it evolved here: Progressivism)...he'd have the new Obama anthem or some Russian themed music playing in the background and hav animated clips playing on the in-studio screen.....it's a way to blow off some steam..to show the absurdness of what IS happening here and where we're being taken!
Comrades and Sick-Twisted-Freaks are ways we have come to address one-another...jokingly....here and elsewhere with fellow Beck devotees.
It is not meant to be offensive (at least to fellow Beck fans) but I think that his detractors would find it so because we are throwing it back in their faces.
