CONTROL THE HEALTHCARE PROTEST BY BOYCOTTING 1000 MEETINGS OF DEMOCRAT HEALTHCARE PROPAGANDA!
Reuters ^ | 08/31/09 | Kackikat

Posted on 08/31/2009 6:03:39 AM PDT by Kackikat

Although written in July 09, this is still relevant quote:

Obama was holding an evening prime-time news conference at a time when his long-running post-inaugural honeymoon appears to be ending.

Several polls show his job approval rating dropping and that Americans are having doubts about his prescriptions for the economy and healthcare.

They are concerned that his $787 billion economic stimulus plan has not helped the economy and are having sticker shock at the $1 trillion cost of the healthcare plan.

THE 1000 HEALTHCARE PROPAGANDA MEETINGS ARE A SALES PITCH, WHERE NO QUESTIONS OR COMMENTS WILL BE ALLOWED!

We are wasting time if we go to these Sales meeting, where Thugs, Union, Acorn and Demrats are astroturf bussed in by Obama to change the Healthcare debate.

THESE 1000 MEETINGS NEED TO BE BOYCOTTED WITH SILENCE, BECAUSE THE DEMS AND OBAMA ARE NOT ALLOWING VOICES OF OPPOSITION TO BE HEARD...ONLY OBAMA CAMPAIGNING FOR HEALTHCARE, AND COVERED BY DRIVE BY MEDIA WITH NEGATIVE COMMENTS ON RIGHT AND WE NEED TO CHANGE THAT MESSAGE THROUGH A COMPLETE BOYCOTT OF THOSE MEETINGS...SILENCE WILL SPEAK VOLUMES.

We need to let FoxNews know we are boycotting these meetings as they are Sales Meetings for a Healthcare program already protested and not wanted by American people. GET GLENN BECK TO ANNOUNCE AMERICANS ARE BOYCOTTING THESE MEETINGS AS THEIR VOICES ARE NOT WELCOME.

Go to 9/12 Project instead, and create rallies voicing opinions against this particular Healthcare lies, that can be heard locally, and on Fox News.

STOP THE MADNESS, AND PROTECT AGAINST VIOLENCE, BY BOYCOTTING ALL 1000 MEETINGS...WITH SILENCE!

NOTIFY FOXNEWS OF A BOYCOTT...WHAT SAY YOU?

The American people have stayed quiet for too long. I don’t agree with boycotting the meetings. The most effective thing to date has been attending these meetings and voicing opinions.

Maybe I am not understanding your post, but if it advising folks to not attend the townhall meetings, I dont agree.

Sorry, but we are still going to the townhalls and protesting. A boycott just opens the field for the Dems and their enablers in the MSM. We need our presence there more than ever.

I am always suspicious of people who join FR right before elections even though you joined in Sept 2000.

Absolutely NOT! It would be interpreted as the majority agrees with Zero. The strong response against the deathcare reforms, including my heavily-democratic area, is waking up people. It was marvelous to go and see how many folks disagreed. Of course, it was disheartening to realize the politicians aren’t listening. But at least they’re hearing that they’re losing votes. As one person at the Glassboro NJ meeting told Rob Andrews, “you’re supposed to represent us to the government; all you’re doing is representing the government to us.” GET OUT TO THE MEETINGS FOLKS!

Gosh! The deficit is so serious that 'Bam may need to appoint a commission? I can't beleive it's really THAT bad.

I AM NOT IN CHARGE, BUT LOOK AT THIS LOGICALLY..

If Zero busses in massive numbers on tour, which they will on our taxpayer dollars, then the against americans will be outnumbered...that will be the message, and NOT the problems with HR3200...

BY BOYCOTTING, our numbers are unknown...and we retain control of the message by bombarding foxnews that 9/12 project protests are our focus...another thing Obamanuts are trying to ignore...DON’T YOU WANT US TO CONTROL OUR PROTESTS, or do you want Obama to get FREE FOX NEWS AIRTIME with his propaganda speeches?

I see the 1000 meeting as a TRAP AND AMBUSH TO REWRITE TOWNHALLS, just as they rewrote history textbooks. The american people spoke at Townhalls in record numbers to say NO TO OBAMACARE, and the demrats know that, but want to exploit the numbers through new meetings of their paid astroturf.
The TOWNHALLS were the proper forum to say NO TO OBAMACARE, and most who went (and are not freepers or internet savy) were spontaneosly objecting to this overtake of healthcare.
Those numbers will not be there this time, as most americans have let their representatives know their positions at TOWNHALLS.
The violent encounter of one conservative by getting his face smashed by an Obamamite will continue, but my belief is they will try to chnage our focus, and get right in trouble. FOXNEWS will have to show the numbers from both side that attend, or announce a boycott by Americans who have already spoken....which do you think will be more effective?

I believe we should STAND ON THE TOWNHALL PROTESTS OF NO BY THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, and NOT let Demrats rewrite that information. Do as you wish, but that is my humble opinion...it’s a AMBUSH TO CHANGE THE MESSAGE AND GIVE THEM MORE PAID PRO HEALTHCARE PROTESTORS THAN NAYSAYERS...SO THEY CAN VOTE ‘YES’ AND THAT THESE 1000 MEETING HAVE CHANGED AMERICAS MIND....remember this, and we will see what happens.

The healthcare package was trying to be rammed through before the August recess. Because of our voices, they put the bill on hold. The outrage of this healthcare bill has been a focal point on all news stations. Because of the outrage it has made Americans think twice and want to know what is going on instead of being walked all over like what happened with the stimulus package, the auto bailout, and other ridiculous bills. Enough is enough. The majority of Americans (regardless of political party) are against this bill, the more attention that is brought to this bill, the better. Why?? because it is incredibly flawed. If we go away, the sheeple will follow the One. We are not giving free advertisement to Obama, this is hurting his image - and badly.

Forget it, your strategy is terrible and I would never go for it. We finally have a good thing going - with many Americans standing up in unity against socialist health care. And you are saying stop it? Forget it.

And may many, many more head out to reject this bill at the townhall meetings and the tea parties! AMEN!

I couldn’t use above article, as another thread was already posted with it, and I was on too late and decided to write my own post. It is a setup to rewrite Townhalls with their bussed protests, and even though they call their meetings Townhalls...they aren’t. It is propaganda pro healthcare protests by paid astroturfers....We need to stand with ALL the NOs at real Congress Representatives Townhalls as one unified voice, and not be dragged into this nonsense.

The article doesn't support your strategy, which if implemented would actually help the Democrats. Our participation is not organized or centrally managed like Organizing for America. The idea that someone could order a boycott is ludicrous.

Here is something that the Communists and Saul Alinksy came up with to control meetings:

HOW COLLECTIVISTS USE THE DIAMOND TACTIC TO SWAY PUBLIC MEETINGS AND HOW TO THWART THEM

by G. Edward Griffin

In the 1960s, I came across a small training manual distributed by the Communist Party that showed how a small group of people – as few as four – could dominate a much larger group and sway the outcome of any action taken by that group. It was called the Diamond Technique.

The principle is based on the fact that people in groups tend to be effected by mass psychology. They derive comfort and security from being aligned with the majority, especially if controversy or conflict is involved. Even if they do not like what the majority is doing, if they believe they are in the minority, they tend to remain silent and resigned to the fact that the majority should rule. This being the case, the Diamond Techniques is designed to convince the group that as few as four people represent the majority. Here is the strategy:

1. Plan ahead of time what action you want the group to take: nominate or oppose a candidate, support or oppose an issue, heckle a speaker, or whatever. Everyone on your team must know exactly what they are going to do, including contingency plans.

2. Team members should arrive at the meeting separately and never congregate together.

3. Team players should arrive early enough to take seats around the outside of the assembly area, roughly in the shape of a diamond. They must not sit together.

4. The object of the tactic is place your people around the perimeter of the audience so that, when they begin to take action, those in the center will have to do a lot of head turning to see them – to the right, then the left, then the rear of the room, then the front, etc. The more they turn their heads, the greater the illusion of being surrounded by people in agreement with each other, and the more they will be convinced that these people represent the majority opinion.

I have seen this tactic used by collectivists at numerous public meetings over the years, and I have participated in it myself on several occasions when confronting collectivists in their own tightly held organizations. It works. [... The only way to thwart the Diamond Tactic is to always be prepared to match it with your own team...]

Never take a meeting for granted, especially if something important is scheduled to transpire, such as nomination of officers. Even a simple gathering to hear an important speaker can turn into a nightmare if opponents send in hecklers.

So, always plan for the worst and be prepared to spring into action with comments from the floor such as:

1. I want to make it clear that these people do not speak for me.

2. I am in total opposition to what they stand for. In fact, I would like to ask them to identify themselves. Who are you? Why did you come to this meeting? What is your agenda?”

If comments such as this are heard from three or four people around the outside of the room, the meeting will be very exciting, but the tactic will be defused.

What you are proposing is to clear the field for the Obamabots so they can create the illusion that the majority of people agree with them. This will have the effect of having the undecided or less committed be willing to go along with what they perceive is the majority.

I am now convinced that you are a troll.
