I am outraged at our government withholding aid from a country that simply was following their constitution in removing a corrupt dictoator who was trying to subvert the rule of law.

Freepers, how can we contribute to Honduras as individuals? Is there an organzation like "Americans for a Free Honduras" that we can support and send money to? I'm as tight with finances as anyone in this economy, but I'll give up some small luxuries to support this movement! SARAH PALIN, WE'RE NEEDING YOUR LEADERSHIP HERE, PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

The real message in the Honduras affair is:

That we are entering an entirely new phase in foreign affairs.

Allies of the past will be pushed under the buss. Honduras, Poland, Israel already have a taste of the future.

Communist countries will now get preferential treatment. Real democracies will be in disfavor.

This combined with the madness in the congress; a diversity czar that wants to put all broadcasting under government program management, the kill button theory of internet management, socialized medicine, bank, manufacturing and insurance company takeovers and management through fear...Only the blind and stupid fail to see where Obummer, the Fascist, and his crew are taking this country.

We have only until 2010 to stop them. If we do not vote the correct way in 2010 and dramatically change the composition of the congress, our country will be damaged beyond repair long before the next presidential election.

I hope we can but Americans have 1. very short memories
2. traditionally kept their own congress critters in office while placing scorn and ridicule on everyone else’s representative who they can’t vote for anyway 3. will probably experience government give-a-ways not even imagined as Obama spends all or most of the remaining stimulus in 2010 buying votes. 4. A good part of the infrastructure to protect Obama via his czars has already been built and he’ll throw the expendable ones under the bus while staying at a safe distance. Blame will be defected to czars freeing him and his cabinet from blame.
5. Militancy, intimidation and extortion will be fine tuned and will be expanded to even more groups who stand to benefit from the radical left’s agenda. When they have something to lose they’ll fight harder.

The GOP has to get it’s act together. There is so much ammo out there to use (dem’s own words and videos)but I wonder if GOP has the guts to use it.

What people can do as individuals is call every Republican in Congress and tell them to support Honduras and their government.

I am kind of of the view that foreign aid is a luxury expense beyond justification at this point - for anyone.

If you can find them, buy Honduran bananas or any other product which says "Made in Honduras". Write letters to the editor in your local papers. Contact your congress critters.

Does anyone know if money sent to the Honduran embassy in the US would get to the interim government or is the embassy in the hands of Zelaya loyalists? The embassy web site posts articles that makes me suspicious that it does not support the new government.

Some days ago a former mexican journalist Jacobo Zabludovsky in an interview predicted doomsday for our country. He listed 6 points that the Dept of State could use which would swiftly strangle our country in few days. These include exclusion from trade preferences and not recognizing the elected govt.
So, the best way YOU could help us is to please ask your senators and congressmen, to stop Obamarx from taking harmful actions against our country. We have no voice now because we are ignored. so PLEASE if you can give us a hand on this issue.
