Many people were left outside when the school filled to capacity. School security officer Wesley Cheeks, Jr. did not like my anti-Obamacare poster which used one of the gone-viral "Joker" graphics.
When protester said to Officer Cheeks, "This used to be America!" his response was: "It ain't no more, OK?

Let’s hope with everything we’ve got that the thug is wrong.
Back to the country my friends, let them try to follow us if they can.
If they can, oh the surprises we have for them. Go home and cry to your mommy.
Its approaching ‘showdown’ time!
Where you can burn our flag in public but not show an Obama joker poster?
What about all those effigy hangings of George W Bush?
My my, da standards dey do change!!!!
Its OK when lefties do it, BUT conservatives are NOT ALLOWED!!
Well that dual standard is about to come up against a line of pike poles!!!
Invoke your 1st Amendment rights! Then see what he does.
send it to Beck.
Trespassing because you hold up a poster about obama??
Yes, it’s not American anymore and your black officer just confirmed it.
I hope and pray this is true......if not, I am afraid this country is heading in a direction we do not want to go.
Is this a true story?
Yes this is a true story. But technically, the officer said “no mo”, but that’s just splitting hairs...
You don’t want to be an officer like that when the revolution comes. Those guys’ll be doing a Mussolini dance at the end of a rope.
This is Obamerica now. In Obamerica you cannot display anything in oppositon to Der Fuhrer.
I’m looking for clarification. Was this a regular police office assigned to security for the event at the school or was this a school police officer? If it’s a school police officer, he’s probably not used to 1st amendment rights being expressed there.
Well, he threatens to charge the fellow with “whatever he wants to”, so I really don’t know if it matters. The video text says “school security officer”, so I don’t know. I suppose a person from that state could tell from his uniform and badge?
bump
What I’m getting at is public schools are a totally different world from the rest of the United States. They can suspend a student for having possession of drugs if they find a Tylenol in their purse or backback. The students have limited constittional rights. lol
I should have added...if this “officer” is used to working at the school...he’s probably not familiar with the Constitution. :D
None of the ACORN guys are officers but that doesn’t stop them from intimidating people. Remember the Nation of Islam guys that had clubs at the voting places during the election? He had a badge, and that’s enough for me.
He was no officer, he was but a piglet
My take is the officer was just trying to say whatever to walk away and avoid more questions about why the poster can't be held while some others that don't have a picture are allowed.
But when he answered "This is America" with "Not any more" he... ahem.... acted stupidly.
(per Wikipedia for the United States)
Race/Ethnicity (2008)
White................................................79.8% <<<
African American.............................12.8% <<<
Asian American.................................4.5%
Native American/Alaskan Native......1.0%
Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander.....0.2%
Multiracial........................................1.7%
Hispanic (of any race).....................15.4%
Only 12.8%?? They seem everywhere...more than that surely.
The officer actually looked like a fairly reasonable guy. In the end the officer walked away and did not want the confrontation.
