he Rev. Michael Pfleger, the white pastor from Chicago's predominantly black Saint Sabina Catholic Church, made some incendiary statements at Philander Smith College's opening convocation on Thursday, reported the Arkansas-Democrat Gazette. The clergyman first came to the national spotlight, when he gave a sermon at President Obama's own former controversial Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago in May 2008 (see video below). Here are some of the charges made by Father Pfleger that were recently reported:

This man’s historical deconstruction is so over the top, it probably makes sense to the HuffPost/DUmmy/KOSkids droolers.

” Instead, he believes American terrorism began with the pilgrims on the Mayflower “who got lost and came upon a land and decided to take the first nation and enslave them”

No terrorism started with Islamic oppression and conquest of Christians and non-Christians using military force in the 600’s to inflict its own religion and Sharia law on the world..

Or maybe it started with the first Austraopithecine who tossed a rcok at another one.

When is the Catholic Church going to defrock and excommunicate this racist idiot?

Another Obama “spiritual mentor”. Just like Rev. James “house niggers” Meeks, Rev. Jeremiah “Ridin Dirty” Wright, Louis “Whitey is our mortal enemy” Farrakhan, Jesse “Hymietown” Jackson, and Khalid “the financier” al-Mansour.

What’s wrong with these people?? In my former profession every possible rule was bent, broken and deleted (not kidding here) to accomodate minorities, I was on several hiring review panels.

We require a full college degree (which had to be related to the profession, not basketweaving for example) and yet they still whine, complain and threaten suit, all wee-weed up! Not all of course, but even one is too many. Ditto for promotions (advancement in rank).

Enough, go to Africa, Indonesia, wherever but leave our country if you are so ungrateful.

This charlatans words are so ignorant and contradictory to fact it boggles the mind.

Pflager - “I, in fact, believe I am a great friend to America, and I am a true patriot,” Pfleger said. “Because a good friend loves something enough to tell it the truth.”

This white apologist will pander and submit himself to all that his truths lead him to. I left the Catholic church long ago because of the wavering and flaccid stance it takes with these deeply disturbed priests. I believe the church emphasizes turning the other cheek but instead the church tacitly endorses the opposite by allowing this inciter with a collar to pander to the masses and feed the acrimony of repression.

This guy truly is as nutty as Ward Churchill. No wonder he loves BHO Rev. Wright so much.

These guys are ALL loons. Then again, they think everyone who goes to the townhalls, participates in tea parties, and believes BHO might be covering up his birth records is a loon too.

Philander Smith College was officially founded in 1877 under the name of Walden Seminary as a means of providing education opportunities for freed slaves west of the Mississippi River. The school was renamed Philander Smith College in 1882 to recognize the financial contributions of Adeline Smith, the widow of Philander Smith. The college was chartered as a four-year college in 1883 and conferred its first bachelor’s degree in 1888. In 1943, Philander Smith was accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

“...American terrorism began with the pilgrims on the Mayflower...”

If the ignoramus wants to play “deconstruction” he best get his “beginnings” straighten out.

The moral superiority, deconstructive types seem to forget the Spanish Conquistadors while denouncing Western Civilization, of course with cultural marxist reasons. Don't want to piss off the Hispanics who this guy needs as an "oppressed" class to appease. This guy is so stupid, either he was lobotomized or makes good money off his regurgitation.

The Good Reverend is a Poverty Pimp. He exploits the poor. Instead of preaching to people that they are failures because of someone else he should preach to people about not letting other people get in your way of their success

There are few things more entertaining than a white Roman Catholic priest pretending to be a black Protestant minister.

From the Article: 'He said terrorism in America did not begin with the Sept. 11,2001, attacks. Instead, he believes American terrorism began with the pilgrims on the Mayflower "who got lost and came upon a land and decided to take the first nation and enslave them."'

America-hating liberals should read Shikasta, by Doris Lessing. It will impale them on the horns of their sacred cows.

In the final section the white races on the planet Shikasta (Earth) are put on trial for thousands of years of oppression. The outcome of the trial is not what you expect.

It is not a "conservative" novel, tho.

“Yes, terrorism is old in America. Not only is terrorism old in America, it is seasoned, it is generational and it seems to have marinated in the very bloodstream of what we call America today,” Pfleger said. “I have no problem waving the flag, but let’s see the blood on that flag while we wave it.”

The blood on the flag???

You mean this blood Pflager????

Philander was a common name of the 1800’s. Philander Chase was a missionary Bishop of the Episcopal Church who established churches throughout Ohio as well as Kenyon College, which was originally a seminary. He then did the same in Illinois, establishing Jubilee College as a seminary.

Philander had little time to philander as he had seven children by his wife. He is buried in Jubilee State Park, Peoria, IL.
