Just who has been sending “the message”? And how did it permeate not only the media, but also the once-respected U.S. Congress and the courts of our land, including the once-incorruptible Supreme Court? And what menacing forces made the once-courageous conservative media abandon their mission to expose rank corruption and collusion?
Two words: Money Talks!
If you’re a media mogul and you get word from the FCC that your license will be pulled immediately and irrevocably if you mention only three words – Obama’s birth certificate – poof! You send that word to your employees and tell them that their mega-salaries – in fact, their employment – are on the line.
If you’re a conservative talk-show host and you get your boss’s directive not to dare to mention only three words – Obama’s birth certificate – poof! Lips sealed; curiosity zero!
If the money thing doesn’t work, there’s always the threat thing, i.e., “going public” about tax records, health status, or family secrets. Or be audited by the IRS. Or be investigated by any number of regulatory agencies.
And if the money thing and the threat thing don’t work, how about being reminded of all those “accidents” and “unfortunate incidents” – broken kneecaps, missing children, “falls” from buildings, punctured tires – that resulted not in joblessness or embarrassment but in death?

The Media would blow the whistle on such a threat. It would be just too easy to throw it the threat back on the administration and make them eat crow.
No different from Ted Kennedy swimming free, Rangel's filthy lucre, Bill "Cold Cash" Jefferson, Dodd's deals or, husseins cabinet's wholesale tax evasion. If you toe the leftist line, you will be protected.

No they wouldn’t. The MSM didn’t even verify the Birth Certificate issue in the first place. The MSM didn’t looked the other way for Ted Kennedy’s Mary Jo moment. The MSM didn’t call Joe Biden on when he said that FDR went on TV in 1933 at the beginning of the Great depression (Biden was wrong on 2 points - TV and the Great Dep started in 1929), the MSM has a poor track record of covering these issues.

Yes, I am frustrated that so few in the conservative media are covering Obama’s natural born status, but I don't think threats from Obama operatives are the reason.
Just my opinion, I'd say organized crime. Thuggery is and has been the order of US politics for the past 40+ years. Reagen was a great president but I don't suppose he would have personally chosen George H. Bush as VP, of course, considering Bush's CIA years re the Golden Triangle drug business. JFK spoke publicly of the hidden powers that are in control and RFK went after mafia figures. Fast forward to today. The former head of the AFL-CIO HQed in Chicago has just been appointed to the CEO position of the Federal Reserve branch in NY, it controls Wall Street. Smell test time? Ah, blow it all off as a nutso conspiracy.

It just came to me: I think I know more about the torture methods at the Guantanomo(sp?) prison in Cuba than I do about the background of the President of the United States, because the President of the United States will NOT release his 1961 Hawaii long form birth certificate or his Occidental, Columbia, and Harvard college records.
1. I wish Occidental students and alumni would hold public protests in order to put pressure on Obama and college officials to release Obama's Occidental college records.

Asking for proof of birth certificate is a simple question and requires a straight forward answer.
The question of “natural born citizen” should be easy to resolve, but government is unwilling to answer.
The government leaders acts and considers itself above the law and is willing to ignore the Constitution. What is next? The 2nd Admentment?
