Excellent question. Could be if that is factored in, the racial disparity diminishes greatly or isn't even there.

One thing if poverty, asthma, diabetes etc are underlying factors. Very different if behavior, smoking is the main reason.

The darker your skin, the LONGER it takes to get your Vitamin D from the sun. Whites need the LEAST amount of time to get enough in the summer.

Since I’ve been retired the last year, I’ve been the healthiest I’ve been in a long time.
I spend at least 30 minutes outside every day dog walking, no matter what the weather.

Of course I’m interacting with a lot fewer (potentially sick) people too.
