There is a sad story behind this one, yet you utilize it as a joke.
I saw a kid texting while riding his bike the other day. Fortunately, one of us was paying attention since he was weaving out in the middle of a 35 mph street.

"cagers"...LOL. Never quite got that insult. My cage has 400hp, goes 180mph and slides sideways pretty nicely at 100; try that on a Cannondale. Or a Hog.
Bicyclists rarely, if ever, pay attention to traffic laws, which is fine - but then don't act all miffed because I didn't give up 7 ft of clearance.
And don't get me started on m/c riders that travel slower than traffic; unless you're in a pack with a 1%er biker gang, nobody on two wheels with a motor should be holding up grandma's Camry.

I’ve met guys like that. Due to DUIs they are forced to bicycle. It’s funny to see them smoking a cigarette while riding a bicycle

I own 4 autos... I pay enough in “road” taxes that if I want to ride my bike on the road it’s my g*d damned right too.
Now go and advocate more taxes elsewhere.

Depends on what kind of car they drive. With my 15 mpg truck, I pay a bunch.
That incident happened last year (IIRC) during a bike race in Monterey, Mexico. The driver was drunk and falling asleep at the wheel when he plowed into that group of cyclists, killing at least one.
A larger uncropped version I’ve seen of that photo shows that amazingly, there’s a police car right there, it’d be just out of frame to the right in the picture in #18. The drunk driver was so out of it he blew right by a marked patrol car, over the centerline, and into the cyclists.

Reaching in and grabbing someone while in their vehicle could be interpreted as an attempted carjacking. What an incredibly dangerous and stupid thing to do.
I have never seen an adult riding a bicycle that
did not break traffic laws.
