I hope he didn't suffer too much, though I hope he is brought to justice for what appears a tyrannical and wicked life. If I'm wrong, I hope I'm forgiven.
That said, I wish he'd take the entire Camelot PR fiction to the grave with him. America is not a family founded on royalty or even quasi-royalty. I despise the entire Camelot myth and wish it would be buried and each individual would have to earn their rank and prove that they deserve respect.

This may be a rallying cry for democrats to cram socialized health care down our throats.
Instead of “win one for the gipper”, it will be “pass health care for Ted”.

Let’s not forget how big it was to get the Kennedy’s behind Obama in order for him to win the Dem nomination (and ensure an easy cakewalk to the White House). In many ways Teddy is to blame for what we have to deal with today. No sympathy for him whatsoever.

I know he has family who love him. He was a very flawed man from a very charged background and a less than good character daddy and grew up in the shadow of great expectations never ever living up to them.
I dunno. Ted was always the little boy in the shadows trying to catch up to the big shots he followed as siblings...
I have nothing positive for any Kennedy I can think of...they are my culture war foes but I do have sympathy for the tragedies they have suffered ...and caused.
What a mess of family to be called Camelot....still though prayers for all concerned. It is over.
