Last year, President Obama campaigned against budget deficits. Yet, now we have the newly announced figures from the Obama administration stating that the deficits numbers over the next decade will add up to over $9 trillion-- $2 trillion more than had been forecast as recently as March. Even this likely underestimates the deficit by at least another $1 trillion. Looking back, it is hard to believe that the deficits during the Bush administration totaled only about $3 trillion over eight years.
Candidate Obama promised to rein in the budget deficit. When CBS's Bob Schieffer asked Obama, during the third presidential debate, what he was going to do about the deficit, he promised to cut it: "But there is no doubt that we've been living beyond our means and we're going to have to make some adjustments. Now, what I've done throughout this campaign is to propose a net spending cut." . . . .

POS socialist liar.
Get Smart
Maybe true enough as stated. Says nothing about post-campaign actions...
These clowns are completely out of control.
Ironic...Zero added his unaccounted 2 trillion in while the CBO took the unaccounted out...either way, it IS 9 billion and counting...and neither of them is accounting for the lost revenue after the tax hike, lost payroll and small business taxes, inflation and pork...maybe another “stim pack” and who knows what else...oh brother...we have to be looking at 12 billion by mid-terms, 14-16 or more by end of his ONLY term...and remember Reagan’s was 6% after killing off the Cold War (oh, the horror!)...this is 12% and will go to 15+ before he’s done...
Ho much is 9 trillion dollars?
If you were to spend 1 million dollars an hour — AN HOUR — it would take you 1,027 YEARS to spend it.
A trillion here, a trillion there and pretty soon you are talking some serious money.
yep, tribbles WAS a great episode. my two other faves were the Edith Eeeler/1930’s story, (’edge of tomorrow’?) and also the 1930’s story (’a piece of the pie’?) where the guys acted out as gangsters complete with the lingo and weapons,.

I got a big kick out of the bumper sticker I recently saw that said “Please don’t tell Obama what comes after a Trillion”
