California Legislature to Consider Anti-Gun Bills Very Soon Please Contact Your State Legislators Immediately!

As we have reported, there are two very serious anti-gun bills pending action in Sacramento. These bills could be heard as early as Thursday so it is critical that your contact your legislators in opposition.

Assembly Bill 962 is currently awaiting action in the Senate. Sponsored by Assembly Member Kevin De Leon (D-45), AB962 would make it a crime to privately transfer more than 50 rounds of ammunition per month, even between family and friends, unless you are registered as a “handgun ammunition vendor” in the Department of Justice’s database. Ammunition retailers would have to be licensed and store ammunition in such a manner that it would be inaccessible to purchasers. The bill would also require that purchasers submit to fingerprinting, which would be kept in dealers' records and subject to inspection by the Department of Justice. Lastly, mail order ammunition sales would be prohibited.

Senate Bill 585 is pending a vote by the full Assembly. SB585, introduced by State Senator Mark Leno (D-3), would prohibit the sale of firearms and ammunition on the property or inside the buildings that comprise the Cow Palace. In short, SB585 is a stepping-stone to banning gun shows on all publicly-owned property in California.

It is imperative that you stand-up and respectfully make your voices heard! Please contact your State Senator and respectfully urge them to oppose AB962. Also, please contact your Assemblymember and ask them to oppose SB585. Contact information can be found here.

“This will impact the illegals and gangbangers, how?”.....

Zero impact!

As usual, the only ones screwed over are legitimate gun owners!

It never affects the criminal.

This will help close down gun shows throughout the state and disarm you through an inability to buy ammo.

The state is bleeding money but they’ll cut off their sale tax nose to spite their fascist face.

Cabelas is just over the hill from Sacramento in Reno.

It’s about time to tell the legislature to go Obama themselves.

They don’t have to pay taxes.

We don’t have to obey their stinkin’ (and unconstitutional) laws.

Might be a good buying opportunity with all the gun-banning action going on in California. At least it’ll be a good buying opportunity for gun buyers in the other 56 states.

Californians are gonna have to start dumping guns one of these days, and I’m gonna be there to help them out.

“By all means, be respectful. And after the laws pass, respectfully IGNORE THEM!!”

I never thought I would see a time when I would condone the breaking (or ignoring) of laws. When 75% of society has already gone that direction, the only way to survive is to join them.

My goodness, we have become a 3rd world hell hole where anarchy reins after all, haven’t we?

Assemblyman De León has spent a lifetime fighting to empower working families and the poor—as a community organizer, English as a Second Language and U.S. Citizenship teacher, and an advocate for public schools. During his five years at the California Teachers Association, De León fought for additional funding for “high-priority schools” in low-income neighborhoods, more school construction, and health insurance for children.

Why, whatever do you mean, Mr. JBT? I didn't sell a firearm, I merely sold this gentleman for $790 an option to purchase this firearm within 30 days for $10.

The point (or the main point) is not that laws are widely disregarded, so we can do so too.

The point is that those empowered to pass laws don't limit themselves to passing ones that are Constitutional, necessary, and regulate something they have a moral right to be involved in. They don't do their part, seems disingenuous for them to expect us to do ours.

Gangs will simply have people constatntly running to other states to circumvent the law.

Honest citizens will not have the luxury of ammo runners.

Eff any legislator who does not respect the 2nd Amendment!

Almost 40 years ago Andy Warhol said everyone would be famous for 15 minutes.

I now believe we can change this to in the future everyone will be a criminal for something.

And you can bet that any car with CA plates that stops there will be noted, stopped, and searched when it re-crosses the CA border.

That sounds like Checkpoint Charlie between East and West Germany.

A Communist state and Freedom loving state need border guards 24/7 ?

What are they smoking in CA? Oh never mind forgot what state we are talking about.
What are they teaching the children in CA? Oh never mind forgot what state we are talking about.
Why is it people that claim to be highly educated want more and more leftist aka progressive gun control laws that criminals will not obey?

Do leftist aka progressive gun free zones work? No.
Do leftist aka progressive background check law work? No.

Will leftist aka progressive restrictions on how many rounds of ammo a person can per month prevent criminals from getting ammo? No.
Will leftist aka progressive bans on gun shows stop criminals from getting guns? No.

Just which group of people do the leftist aka progressive gun haters want to disarm? The law abiding group.
