where the majority of American sentiment is on this issue - in FAVOR of health insurance reform.
Actually this statement is true.”
The statement is also meaningless and a good example of ‘pollaganda’ abusing polls for political misinformation.
fact is healthcare is complex and the system is imperfect. So 70% want to change it.
I am one of them, but I want:
- tort reform
- less govt control and regulations
- ability to buy health insurance across state lines
- health savings accounts that are universal so that direct payments of health dollars are non-taxable
- change our system of reliance on employer-funded cadillac health insurance to one where we have cheaper more portable health insurance
- allow more high deductible insurance
THAT’S MY REFORM. MORE CHOICE. MORE FREEDOM. MORE INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITY. LESS GOVT CONTROL.
O’s going in the ANTI-REFORM direction in my book.
btw, *forcing* insurance companies to accept people with pre-existing conditions is a disaster. It forces insurance rates up for everyone ... it’s been tried in many states and those states have much higher insurance rates. That ‘solution’ begets affordability problems and drives everyone to govt-run healthcare.
In the end, people have to pay more directly for their own healthcare and be responsible more for their own health.
The solution is individual responsibility.
“One thing for sure, the repubs need to get out in front with ideas of their own, and not the old free market crap weve heard for decades.”
Yeah what has the free market given us, except prosperity, longer lifespans, life-saving treatments, and drugs to cure previously incurable diseases. phooey on all that, gimme that New Socialist BS!
*someone* will be elected for the 435 Representative seats. They will be Rs or Ds. There is no “none of the above” choice.
you can vote 3rd party but that has as much effect as staying home.
If you want to save freedom in USA, defeating Speaker Pelosi and her gang of kleptocrats is vital. “Vote ALL the bums out.” Is overboard.
I’m RSVP’ing to as many as I can. They all think I’m coming.
I am only interested in who will replace the Dems in
TX-25 (Lloyd Doggett), TX-17 (Chet Edwards), and TX-23 (Ciro Rodriguez).
Names? Candidates?
And the campaign continues........ PATHETIC WAY TO RUN A GOVERMENT!
Some of us should take a few of those jobs & report back on whats reallyh going on “inside.”
How ‘bout you in one of those districts?
I live in TX-21. TX-17 needs someone from Waco to run or they will just lose.
It would be far more productive for conservatives to run in smaller races and against Democrats IMHO.
“Some of us should take a few of those jobs & report back on whats reallyh going on inside.”
YUP. We need to infiltrate, and getting paid to be a mole beats doing it for free.
All of them overseas, no doubt.
Well I hope you’re a least volunteering for someone. You sound like you have a good ear for the local campaigns and you’re certainly logical and reasonable. Maybe a Patriot that signs up at GOOOH.com will get a shot at Waco.
G@wd, but I don’t know if I could stand congregating with those fools for even one minute!
1000 events is a great deal of traveling for one rent a mob.
LOOK FOR DUPLICATION OF ATTENDEES.
1000 events? HA! all smoke and mirrors to imply a crowd.
now they will say 1000 events in support.
how about 10000000000000000000 events?
why not report ONE QUADRIOLLION EVENTS IN SUPPORT? it is just a number anyways.
We will turn these into a nightmare for them.
That made me laugh out loud!
Re#40 good idea. LOL
