How good for the hospitals was the deal they got from the Obama administration last month to support its health care overhaul? A profitable one, according to a run through the numbers by one hospital association.
Recall that the White House and hospital industry officials announced in July that the industry had agreed to contribute $155 billion in cost savings over 10 years to help pay for the administrations health care overhaul effort. At the time, some critics of the administration wondered what the hospitals expected in return.

Hospitals do not write off "charity" care. They pass it on to those who pay.
This will allow the hospitals to double-dip with passing on the cost of charity and being reimbursed by the taxpayers.
I wonder if the hospital Michelle 0bama used to admin at will get special slush funds I mean funding?
