Jay-Z disses Bill O'Reilly, Rush Limbaugh in 'Off That' featuring Drake

So you think youre all cool and hip, huh? Well, you are not as cool as famous rappers Jay-Z or Drake and you are certainly not as cool as Jay-Z and Drake together. This is the central thesis of Off That, the newly leaked Drake collab from Jays upcoming The Blueprint 3, and its hard to argue with. Just accept it: Whatever cutting-edge trends you think youre inventing, Jigga and Drizzy already discarded as played-out years ago. Facts are facts.
The fizzy beat behind Off That comes from Timbaland; while he and Jay-Z have done more ground-breaking work in the past, those two are evidently still incapable of creating a bad track when they team up. Drakes contributions to the song are limited to the hook, which he handles competently. And Jay? His ever-changing flow is on point as per usual, and he even sneaks a few smart lines into what is essentially a silly flossing anthem: Please tell Bill OReilly to fall back/Tell Rush Limbaugh/To get off my balls/Its 2010, not 1864! I love party jams that come with stealthy political undertones, so I just about stood up and clapped when I heard that verse.

Jay-Z has no reason to fear Bill O’Reilly or Rush Limbaugh. It’s just part of the demonization of people who don’t agree with the Left.

I wasn’t aware that Rush had a problem with Jay-Z or that other guy. Whatsamatter Jay-Z can’t take the heat Rush puts on your bro? Time for a Bo Snerdley rebuttal yo yo.

I wonder if I can get them to 'diss' me too! I want on the list!
Next thing you know they will be lying dead in some ditch shot by another 'Rapper'. BIG DAMN DEAL! Live by the thuggery, die by the thuggery.
Has Obama had them at the White House yet for music appreciation?!

Then again, reading this article made my head hurt too.
So this is the type of entertainment writer that finds a rap hit like that to be "politically smart".

Jay-Z is mediocrity personified. He’s like Puff Daddy, but for an even dumber generation with even less discriminating taste. The man’s incapable of making two songs (and I use the word loosely) that don’t sound exactly alike.
I have no clue who the Drake fella is. He hasn’t been busted in the club wit a gat yet, so I haven’t heard of him.
And take heart... uncool is the new cool. Knowing who these nobodies are is no badge of honor.

Its 2010, not 1864!That's funny... In 1864 we were in the middle of the Civil War. Lincoln was re-elected, and the DEMOCRAT Party was trying to figure out how to surrender to the Union.
In 2010 we're in the middle of a war on terror, Obama is President, and the Democrats are trying to figure out how to surrender to the terrorists.
Some things never change.

Jay-Z showing up in the title of a FR thread, wow the liberals and urban vampire class are hurting for spokemen. Look at this mouth breather, he's a walking minstrel show, like a Trading Places movie that never ended. proves you can have a 98 IQ and use “I is” in everyday language and still make millions in America.

Someone should educate these rappers that it was the Republican President Abraham Lincoln who signed the Emancipation Proclamation and that the party they are supporting is the one that was against emancipation and was against civil rights.
Martin Luther King Jr. was a Republican.

Jay-Z Watts is a former congressman from Oklahoma.
Drake was second-in-command of the English fleet against the Spanish Armada in 1588.
I'm trying to be sensitive here by displaying as much historical and cultural knowledge as these two "artists".
To: NotSoModerate
He wants Rush Limbaugh to stop busting his ****s. This itself is a lie.
Rush has not weighed in on Mr. Jazzy or Gacy or whatever he wants to be ‘knowed’ as.
Several pages of google searching couldn’t produce a Rush vs. Jay-zee quote. Perhaps he needs to put up or STFU about being singled out by Rush.

Not that it really matters much, but I figured I would point out that this “Drake” fella is a Toronto born actor. He got his ‘break’ starring in Degrassi: The Next Generation.
I’ve pretty much stopped listening to music anymore because of crap like this.

Listen to James Brown DECADES ago who said “I Don’t Want Nobody To Give Me Nothing Open Up The Door, I’ll Get It Myself”.
Even in the contemporary era, James Brown held to that view that too many in the black community weren’t being pro-active in changing their own lives, relying on government handouts instead.
He tried to a motivator encouraging kids not to drop out and not to get into drugs. Whatever faults he had he didn’t encourage others to emulate his bad behavior or brag about it.
