Seller, beware: Feds cracking down on garage sales

WASHINGTON — If you're planning a garage sale or organizing a church bazaar, you'd best beware: You could be breaking a new federal law. As part of a campaign called Resale Roundup, the federal government is cracking down on the secondhand sales of dangerous and defective products.

The initiative, which targets toys and other products for children, enforces a new provision that makes it a crime to resell anything that's been recalled by its manufacturer.

The history of the present King of Great Britain is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States. It is getting to where you can’t do any former activity without breaking some law. A friend of mine who lived under communism paraphrased to me what Ayn Rand wrote, that totalitarians make criminals of us to justify controlling us.

If a law should be placed on the books; wouldn’t this law be part of a State’s responsibility? Don’t states have the right to regulate commerce within their state? Why is President Zero upsurping his authority, without a challenge?

But then again, I’m apparently just a trouble-making rascist.

Sounds to me like this is a serious problem. We should have a Bazzar Czar and at least 20,000 unionized inspectors to oversee this illegal black market now. If just 1 child is spared having to suffer the trauma of getting a defective toy, well how can you really put a price tag on that?

I don't believe for a second that it's just for the chillun's things. It would also go for kitchen appliances and the like. I wouldn't put it past these Feebs to try to do "stings" by deliberately donating such items to church bazaars then seeing if they show up.
