I left some feedback for McD's on the site, and I'm afraid I'll no longer be a customer.

I think they’ll catch enough heat about this to soften it down to 365Diversity or some such thing. To put up a black thang as being special is as socially disastrous as to do the same with whites. And I don’t doubt that they mean well, but it is a trap.
Quit eating there a while back except in very extenuating circumstances: Even generic Pepto costs money.

Even if they DO mean well, to single out an ethnic group for special assistance doesn’t promote equality at all; however, it DOES mean that McDonald’s believes that blacks can only get ahead with special assistance... which defeats the entire entire idea of fostering equality as well.

They have swallowed the Kool-Aid. I remember personally what that kind of fuzzy think was like. Whites presuming to be kind and generous to blacks, while really painting them into caricatures. I would give the boot in a Chicago second to anyone who proposed the idea of “always white” to me, a Caucasian.
Yup...especially the criminal part where you have to commit almost 50% of the crime in the US. That's dangerous work.
The right is pretty damn organized at the true grassroots level. As far as this affecting McDonald’s, I just emailed this to Drudge, Rush, and Hannity, so we’ll see.

With all these gestures to the black community (I wonder if they’re being blackmailed, no pun intended) why haven’t they ever done a black Ronald McDonald? Surely clowns come in more than one color?
I was looking at the books at Walmart the other day and noticed they have various sections, like self help, Vampire stories (big right now), religious/spiritual, then the fiction is all done with authors in alphabetical order....then you get to the end and it is all black. Black authors, black people shown on the covers.... as if they couldn’t be mingled in alphabetically with the other authors..... a separate section, like they are segregated or something. Is Walmart racist or purposely merchandising so blacks won’t be lured by white writers....?
