Mind you, this is a guy who beat Hannity a show that airs in primetime in both total viewers and the demo last Friday at 5 p.m. Every last one of these advertisers is simply biding their time, wondering how long they have to wait until nutroots wrath is appeased and they can start advertising on Becks show again. I give it six months. Less if Greta gets dumped and GB ends up moved to 10 p.m.
Twenty companies have pulled their ads from Becks show in just the last two weeks. The moves come after the Fox News host called President Obama a racist who has a deep-seated hatred for white people during an appearance on Fox & Friends. Previous companies who pulled their ads include ConAgra, GEICO, Lawyers.com, Mens Wearhouse, Procter & Gamble, Progressive Insurance, RadioShack, Roche, SC Johnson, Sanofi-Aventis, Sargento, and State Farm Insurance.
We are heartened to see so many corporate citizens step up in support of our campaign against Glenn Beck, said James Rucker, executive director of ColorOfChange.org. Their action sends a clear a message to Glenn Beck: Broadcasters shouldnt abuse the privilege they enjoy by spewing dangerous and racially charged hate language over the air. No matter their political affiliation, hate language doesnt belong in our national dialogue.

I’ve started watching his show more often because of this boycott. We have to be able to get more than 150k people to support Glenn.
None of these businesses need my hard-earned dollars, then...
Wal-Mart also = big backer of LA RAZA.
Amazing. These corporations are scared of the left. These advertisers should know how much more hateful MSNBC is if they do not already. The media makes a career of calling people racist and they don’t lose advertisrs.
Wal-Mart is a supporter of a group called The Race.. wow
Don’t doubt for a moment that this was orchestrated by leftist/communist groups (ACORN, Moveon, etc.). This is what they live for, to take marching orders from the Commie(organizer) in Chief.
I just added 3 more places I won’t shop at.
Looks like a case of monkeys sees monkeys do.
Veiled threat? Last time I checked, free speech was a God-given right, not a privilege.
No matter their political affiliation, hate language doesnt belong in our national dialogue.
That they can say this with a straight face amazes me. What "typical white person"?
I don’t get it - “leftists” hate Walmart...
I was just at Best Buy looking at an $1800 LCD TV. They just lost that sale
More companies that I will stop doing business with then.
This is really pathetic of the left. Perhaps we need to do a little payback. It’s time to start targeting the left winged media’s advertisers.
Honestly, I’ve never been in any of those stores. So I imagine I’ve already been boycotting them for 50 years.
Since Wallworld came out for ObamaCare things are changing
20 companies? Do that many entities have actually advertised during the Glen Beck show?
And “Lawyers.com” pulled their ads? Who are these guys?
Leftists hate anything that’s convenient. Remember, hatred is a foundation for a socialist government; look at history.
You mean, for example, if some idiot had gotten on national television and said that George Bush didn't care about black people? That would never, ever happen. The left is too tolerant and loving for that.
“None of these businesses need my hard-earned dollars, then...”
I agree, and I plan on writing them and letting them know.
..post a reply to them too
Glenn Beck definitely spoke the truth with that statement. The idiots who refuse to see this can sputter all they wish; it will still be the truth. Each day this truth is becoming more and more painfully obvious to Americans across the political spectrum.
I logged into my Wal-mart account to inform them of what I would have been spending at Wal-mart this week. They are going to lose their base customers by placating people who hate their guts anyway.
Oh, Rats! State Farm.
I won’t drop them because I really like my local agent. The others - well, looks like they want to play the boycott game. OK.
It would be neat if someone could post a list of these companies on a webpage and let’s start a FReeper boycott and show ‘em hell especially if the radio talk shows start referencing this list.
Well, we just aren’t doing as much shopping at Walmart as we used to, even though they still have the best prices. I hate watching them self-destruct like they are doing.
Just called Best Buy and they confirmed that they had pulled their ads from Glenn Beck. Asked or their customer relations numbers and told the girl that answered that I would be sending this info in a mass e-mail immediately telling everyone I knew that they should boycott Best Buy.
Forgive me for replying to all... I thought you guys might be interested in this...

(Boycott of Advertisers that Pulled their ads from Glenn Beck)
Me too.
Forgetting endorsements, how the Hell is Radio Shack still in business? Worthless national chains are going down every day.
I mean it’s not like 1000’s go to local stores and buy resistors and capacitors like in the 80’s.
if they are successful with this campaign against GB, they will move on, one by one, to Hannity, O'R, Rush etc -
They must be stopped NOW
I was going to drop some bucks there too. We need a list of all the people that will not spend money there now, And how much.
You need a reverse boycott - boycott all the companies that boycotted Beck.
I DVR Glenn’s show and generally fast forward through the ads but it seemed like he had as many ad slots filled today as he ever did.
What about Wright? I am so tired of this gotcha game. It's about principles and too many people and organizations lack them.
They probably love the idea of transferring the cost of their employee benefits onto the tax payers. After the deathcare legislation becomes law, Wal-Mart will probably start using the worst plan they can come up with to force their employees into the arms of .gov for health benefits.
So as long as people like Obama's former preacher, Jeremiah Wright, spew their dangerous and racially charged hate language in a church, then it's fine and dandy.
Don’t forget “DefendGlen.com”.
Rush, in contrast, is amazingly in control of every syllable he utters. As an advertiser, I'd trust him not to go wacko one day and say something that he'd be apologizing for the next.
Going after Obama for being a Carter-style incompetent liberal who wants to tax and spend while devastating our economy is something that resonates with people because they see it. Going after him as a white-hater just isn't going to work. I want the public to understand what socialism is and why it fails so miserably. Normally Glenn Beck is really good at this, but he needs some self-control.
Getting harder and harder to boycott. Wal-mart, shame on you. Glenn was right.
I've wondered about this for years. The best I can come up with is US Cellular keeping them alive. All Radio Shack sells in electronics is a bunch of over priced junk.

For what it's worth
The only place on that list I actualloy use is CVS. Oh well, goodbye CVS.
Also, Walmart and other big companies don’t want to pay for employee health care anymore.
does anyone need any further proof that the big corporations are the government’s tentacles?
This is their right, but it ain’t right. I wonder how we could help Glenn Beck. I have an idea.
Let me check and I’ll be right back.
parsy, the po’ed.
I often thought about that. I don’t understand it either.
The prices are way out of line. If you plan ahead you can buy online at way less than Radio Shack.
