OBAMA CARE already passed in STIMULUS BILL; MORE TREACHERY IN SEPTEMBER
Education News ^ | Dewy

Posted on 08/17/2009 5:49:45 PM PDT by bareford101

If you are not aware of it yet, ObamaCare as it's being called "Part One" was actually buried in the phony stimulus bill. That massive rape was signed into law by the usurper president in February.

As Dr. Dave Janda writes, what is being debated now is Part Two. What, you say? Yes, your member of Congress (and mine) pulled another fast one and deceived all of us. Again. tthe link to the draconian 'American Investment and Recovery Act of 2009 is in the article; the same failure as all the wasteful government programs implemented by FDR that prolonged the "Great Depression."

The creation of more worthless federal boards and councils were in the stimulus bill and are now in place.

According to Dr. Dave Janda: "The first part of The Obama Health Care Plan was buried in The Stimulus Bill which was signed into law by the President in February. It is the second part of The Health Care Plan which is now being debated in Congress."

"The underlying method of cutting costs throughout the plan is based on rationing and denying care, not preventing health care need. The plan's method is the most inhumane and unethical approach in cutting costs.

The rationing of care is implemented through a Council, equivalent to the National Health Care Board in the British Health Care System. The name given to this panel is The Federal Coordinating Council For Comparative Effectiveness Research (“Federal Council”). (Section 9201 H.R. 1 Version of the Stimulus Bill.) "President Obama has already appointed the fifteen member Federal Council. According to the Stimulus Bill, p.152, all members of the Council must be “senior federal officers or employees.”

Thus, medical treatment will be dispensed by a group of bureaucrats from their ivory towers, not by the hands-on practitioners in the presence of the patients. The council was funded with $1.1 BILLION from The Stimulus Bill."

"According to former New York Lieutenant Governor and Health Policy Analyst Dr. Betsy McCaughey, the Federal Council will set a cost effectiveness standard for treatment. (Stimulus Bill p. 464) Translation.....if you are over 65 or have been recently diagnosed as having an advanced form of cardiac disease or aggressive cancer, dream on if you think you will get treated.....pick out your box..."

Our best hope would be 2010 for the House. Shut the government down this time for real and do not open it back up. It is a long shot but Obama and Company could get us there if they expose themselves on the Healthscam and Cap and Trade. Even a lot of Democrats are scared of them.

How many elderly and retired will volunteer at said public Deathcare hospitals, I wonder. Or candy stripers, etc. Dedicated wings donated by wealthy folks. Residents taught by skilled experts. Research studies and experimental therapies.

Deathcare is a Santa Ana wind blowing hot and hard through a tinderbox of an old growth red cedar/sequoia forest.

I agree. Since the stimulus was passed without our knowledge; it should be rescinded.

Federal Coordinating Council for Comparative Effectiveness Research Membership
Recovery Act Allocates $1.1 Billion for Comparative Effectiveness Research

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services today announced the members of the Federal Coordinating Council for Comparative Effectiveness Research. Authorized by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), the new Council will help coordinate research and guide investments in comparative effectiveness research funded by the Recovery Act.

“Comparative effectiveness research can improve care for all Americans and is an important element of President Obama’s health reform plan,” said HHS Spokeswoman Jenny Backus. “President Obama is committed to openness and transparency and the Coordinating Council will host open meetings and a listening session as it begins its important work.”

Comparative effectiveness research provides information on the relative strengths and weakness of various medical interventions. Such research will give clinicians and patients valid information to make decisions that will improve the performance of the U.S. health care system

The 15 member Council, named today in accordance with a Congressionally-mandate timeline, will assist the agencies of the Federal government, including HHS and the Departments of Veterans Affairs and Defense, as well as others, to coordinate comparative effectiveness and related health services research. The Recovery Act authorized $300 million for the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, $400 million for the National Institutes of Health, and $400 million for the Secretary of Health and Human Services to support comparative effectiveness research.

The Council will not recommend clinical guidelines for payment, coverage or treatment. The Council will consider the needs of populations served by federal programs and opportunities to build and expand on current investments and priorities. It will also provide input on priorities for the $400 million fund in the Recovery Act that the Secretary will allocate to advance this type of research.

Council members represent a diverse set of individuals and agencies; most of its members are clinicians. Representatives on the Council will address the impact on subpopulations. To ensure that all voices are heard, the Council will hold a public listening session on April 14, 2009. Its deliberations and recommendations will be public and transparent, consistent with all Recovery Act investments as well as the President’s commitment to open government.

A list of Council members is included below.

Another reason to know that we have indeed passed the tipping point. I have been proud of our country for fighting back...and without spelling out details, I am very proud of myself for things I have done since I was AWAKENED. Can tar and feathers be next??????

“...this is war...it is the war of the Democrats against the Baby Boom...who have paid into and now are poised to reap the “benefits” of Social Security and Medicare...it is the war of those who created these fraudulent programs ...which have fleeced 45 years of taxes from the Baby Boom..and never intended to grant them the “benefits” they were conned into allowing to be withheld from their paychecks. It is a personal war...because by hastening them to their graves...they intend to fleece their descendants of their estates.”

I agree with you. It is reverse treason against us, the people who have worked and saved and fought to keep America free.

Can tar and feathers be next?

You know, I have been giving this some thought. I understand the point of tar & feathers. Pain, Embarrassment, difficult to remove, make a permanent impression and once administered one would be unlikely to re-offend. However, Tar & Feathers was a product of its time. Those were the materials which would be most likely at hand.

In today's modern world there are many items and products which could serve the same purpose, and in some cases perform them better!

PRODUCT #1
3M(TM) Hi-Strength 90 Spray Adhesive quickly bonds laminates, plastic pieces, polyethylene and polypropylene to various surfaces including themselves. High Strength, Fast Contact-Type Adhesive. Fast Contact Strength Buildup for Many Decorative Laminates. Only Needs 1 Minute of Drying Time. Need 1 can. PRODUCT #2
Jacks set includes 10 goldtone and silvertone metal diecast jacks. (You know..Jacks, those little pointy things the you step on in the middle of the night and wake the whole street up.) Need 20-30 packs. (200-300 jacks)

Do-nothing FReepers allowed this to happen.

If only 10% of declared WA FReepers had turned out in the past decade to work on campaigns, WA would be a red state. Major elections were that close, and I can't tell you how many precincts were left to the libs and their union workers because we didn't have enough real Americans to close the gap. If only 10% of identified local FReepers had turned out, only 1 in 10 of YOU, dear reader, we could have won MANY races and this state would have been a very different state.

I have yet to meet a FReeper on a political campaign, though I am sure there are a few out there.

So after decades of being active, and losing race after race because so many folks including FReepers just didn't care, I am done. A nation of lazysh*ts deserves what it gets - and to those of you say "A pox on both their houses," fine -- the self-same pox will land on yours also because you did nothing. Don't come whining to me, just shuffle off "stage left, please.'

I celebrate the FReepers who make things happen -- Kristinn, Libertina, Salvation and others who drove things, and those FReepers who join in behind them.

The rest of you, leeches, forget about it. The fate you made for yourselves by your inaction awaits to gobble you up.

You had me at 3M...I have some double-sided tape from 3M i have considered using on my 12 year old son (baby-sitting device to be used while the wife and I are at the movies). And I use some 3M spray adhesive around the house (For fun, I stuck the cat to the garage wall with it).

So, uhhhh, I am in with the newer products vs. the old tar and feathers!!!!
