Obama is speaking before the VFW now. Except for a dozen people or so, they are sitting on their hands. Vets know who the real Obama is. Occasional applause for apple pie statements. For the most part, silence.
When will this endless campaign be over? Zero is pathetic...

Here, the obamanation is in, for him, a “foreign land” when he talks with the Veterans. These people are HEROS, American HEROS. this obamanation is committing TREASON... reverse TREASON... and they know it.
Applause apparently coming from the 50 or so Obama officials in the front rows.
Just wait till he apologizes to Japan for the U.S. dropping the bomb(s).

What would have been even better would have been if the Vets remained silent but all of them turned their backs when he walked to the podium.

I did just that in Houston in the early 90s. Al Gore came to town to award one of his hokey golden hammers and my boss made me go (I was with DoJ). I on on the 2nd row pretty close to the middle and never unfolded my arms the entire time. When we got back in the car my boss told me I should have at least pretended I wasn’t po’d about being there and politely applauded and I told him not in my lifetime would I ever clap for some dumbass lib.....he cracked up!

Some one should make a bumper sticker with that “Stop this Endless War” but strike through the war part and substitute “campaign”.

There have been whole segments of this speech where it was apparent (mispronunciation, awkward pauses, stumbling on words) that *he* doesn’t understand the words he’s mouthing....
Obama’s now actually reading the Dem talking points about “Restructuring our military.” Now he’s saying that our troops need to be able to “speak the native languages of the people they meet overseas” (presumably so they can ask enemy troops why they are mad at us). I am not making this up. “We need to attack waste in military spending and it needs to stop. This is not apolitical issue but about supporting our troops.” Obama brings-up John McCain as a supporter of “restructuring our military.” Obama pats self on back for “cutting waste.” He’s now talking about programs (F-35, airborne laser anti-missile) and clearly has no idea what he’s talking about.
The look on his face as he’s talking says “I really don’t want to be here”.
