Parents in the Alameda, Calif., school district who have been told their children will be required to undergo a controversial homosexual instruction program have sued the district to protect their children from the indoctrination.
The action was filed this week by Pacific Justice Institute, which said it will defend the parents' rights to remove their children from such programs.
WND earlier reported when the district was accused of violating federal law for approving a mandatory homosexual curriculum for children as young as 5 – without allowing parents to opt out of the lessons.

I’m glad someone is fighting this fight, but it’s too bad WND has dropped an atomic bomb on any credibility it ever had with this birther crap.
It’s about time parents took a stand and are putting up a fight against these gay groups that are trying to shove their lifestyle on our kids.

There is only one reason an adult wants to teach sex to a young child.
Maybe this is just another avenue to population control. Why else promote a deadly lifestyle?
Our biggest failings as Republicans or Conservatives is, being both anti abortion, but pro big govt to decide the issue nationally. It should be removed from the Federal docket, and returned to each state. The problem is not that the Supreme court needs changed to get rid of abortion, the entire Federal govt apparatus needs to be chained and brought to heel, so each citizen can have power that is stolen, returned. The same is true of the Boy Scout issue. One can disagree with the policy on homosexuality, and still believe that govt should protect their right to associate.

Too many parents have surrendered the upbringing of their children to our nitwit educational establishment. So Sex education begat giving out condoms to kids which begat abortion counseling. Now it’s gay education for 5 year olds?
They are piling on the outrage. Why? Maybe because they they want this to go to court at some point. Their goal is to establish legally that they own your kids minds.
Public education, if we have to have it, should be controlled locally, not by any national organization.
As Starbuck said, fight ‘em till you can’t.
Simple, parents should instruct their children not to participate. If a huge group of kids refuse to participate, that’s the end of the program.
So what are these parents going to do when their court case fails? Remove their children from this school? They should have done that when this controversary first started. They will get absolutely nowhere in court.
Looking for a fight? Look elsewhere. Parents (and others) have confronted Socialist education since the debate over the institution of nation-wide public education in the first two decades of the last century. Yet, they've not stopped the imposition of oppressive socialist indoctrination in the public schools. Can you not look beyond your narrow focus, and see a wider context? Which should lead you to a decision. But it won't.
More than one reason. There are also the reasons why Hitler installed the Hitler Youth.
