Michael Vic has been signed by the Philadelphia Eagles.
I thought they already have a bad ass quarterback.
Wow. Now I can PUBLICLY root against them.
(yes, I live here)
McNabb finally gets rid of T.O. a few years ago, and now here he is stuck with Vick, the guy can’t win.
Yeah, me too. Did Donovan McNabb retire?
He paid his price to society, so why shouldn’t he have a chance to play? As bad it was, they were still just animals and was nothing close to being as evil as abortion.
You do raise a point, I wonder how Vick's reception is going to compare with Rick Pitino's.
He should have been forced to join a team called the Bulldogs and used as the goat for pile-on practice.
That figures. Worst fans in all of pro sports. They’d probably bbq his dead dogs.
good....another reason to hate the Eagles.....
They're both dirtbags, although I imagine Pitino won't be treated nearly as harshly as Vick.
A great pickup for the Eagles. Perhaps Vick can find redemption.
You don't know Kentucky Wildcat fans. They only tolerate misbehavior from Wildcat coaches and for them their tolerance is limitless.
WTG, Eagles.
I wonder how many pro football players have paid for abortions but sickening as it is abortion is legal, dog fighting isn’t.
Hmmm are you sure?
Pitino’s at U of L.
Would it make you feel any better about Vick if dog fighting was legal?
Vick doesn’t have to play QB. He’s a former 1,000 yard rusher, and he could probably gain yards as a reciever. He’s more than just a backup QB, IMO. The Eggles could probably run some kind of Wildcat offense just for Vick. It’s kind of an akward situation for McNabb, but I’m a Giants fan, so any turmoil in Philly works for me.
Dogs are NOT just animals.
Ping
I’m not defending Vick at all, he should have been banned from the NFL IMHO.
I was merely pointing out that those of us who are pro-life should be even more outraged at Pitino.
That's right. If he was still at UK, many of the Wildcat nation would still be making excuses, but now that he's at U of L, he's been the #1 Man of Evil, even before this abortion incident.
Good news for you, looks like the Cowboys won’t be much of a threat this season.
‘Good news for you, looks like the Cowboys wont be much of a threat this season.’
Oh, the Cowboys will always be a threat to me. This will be Romo’s first full season without T.O. AND Jessica Simpson. Watch him go all-world now. That’s the luck of a Giants fan.
Doesn’t matter what Romo does if the Cowboys secondary can’t stop anybody. This team has no depth whatsoever.
NEWS FLASH: Vick signed by Philadelphia. Front office announces team will change name to Philadelphia Pit Bulls.
‘Doesnt matter what Romo does if the Cowboys secondary cant stop anybody. This team has no depth whatsoever.’
Stop it. You’re making me optimistic. :-)
Lots of animal lover in the world, many have more sympathy for a snuffed dog. Compared to an aborted baby. May end up a the most reviled player in NFL history.
How about a Vick sweatshirt with Pit Bulls dismembering Vick. Titled: AND JUSTICE FOR ALL.
‘May end up a the most reviled player in NFL history.’
O.J. may have that title locked up, but I see your point. I hate what Vick did, but he did jail time, he’s almost broke, and his reputation took a major beating. While I won’t exactly cheer for the guy, I think he deserves a chance to get his life back together. Ray Lewis was semi-involved in someone’s murder, and he seems to have recovered from that event. Vick should be allowed the same chance.
I would imagine lots of pro football players have paid for abortions. Vick also gave a former girfriend and STD; genital warts if I recall correctly. Think he paid out a bundle to settle that lawsuit.

New emblem for Philadelphia's helmets
No but I’d feel better if people could get as outraged at killing babies as they do people killing dogs.
Ah yes, almost forgot about that whole “Ron Mexico” thing.
In my opinion, Mr. Vick cannot pay a sufficient price for what he did. He did not make a mistake. He enabled and participated in evil, not once, but repeatedly. Evil that inflicted pain and terror so horrid that it is nearly inconceivable. Mr. Vick might be forgiven, but all actions have consequences, and he cannot erase what he did...and did...and did to helpless creatures. He is not worthy of human or animal company, much less the adulation of a stadium full of people.
Are your feelings at least as strong about abortion?
Unfortunately, with sports, the Ws will tell the tale. I suspect that Pitino is safe even in good ole Kentucky, as long as he can get to the big dance.
Im kind of split on the Vick thing. I like that he has Tony Dungy in his corner and I do not think Dungy would be doing it as a matter of spinning Vick back to the NFL.
I think he has a bigger plan for Vick than than just football?
Absolutely.
Yes. But obviously they felt the need to have a bad quarterback too.
Yeah ... so??? Who really cares? I sure don’t.
On the radio people are getting all upset about this, but I’m sure that if I were to ask them how they feel about Abortionist doctors, I’m sure they have no complaints towards them. Most people probably respect them.
