Absolutely.
I grew up in Selinsgrove PA. The road has been sitting there unfinished for years. It will sit there unfinished for another 10 years.
I will give Specter credit for one thing. He has held town meetings with angry voters and has stood there and taken their anger without resorting to name calling unlike many of his colleagues. I give him full credit for that which actually tells us how low the credibility of our senate has fallen than the character of our senior senator.
But this is shameless, utterly shameless.
He probably turned his hearing aid off.
Term limits! Term limits! Term limits!!! I am sick of these politicians telling us they need longevity in order for certain projects to get done. Well maybe, Einstein there are some things we don’t need to be spending $$$ on right now! Considering it took Americans until yesterday to start earning $ for themselves and not our stupid gov’t.
One guy @ one of the townhalls aptly said “I love my country, I fear my government.”
Enough already!
Has anyone looked at Specter's large proboscis and thought of Pinnochio? By the time he gets through with Townhalls, there is no telling how large it may be.

LOL! Spector thinks the people of PA will sell their souls for a few miles of asphalt? Isn’t he aware that most American’s right now are upset about the government spending and would proibably be ok with it being down a few miles at a time over a long period of time?

Judging from recent reactions as well as polling data, I would think at this point that he is toast.

PennDOT is a cruel joke on PA tax payers. Consistently rated the worst highways in the country. High paid union workers who sit on their butts most of the time. I'd bet their budget is more like 95% union salaries and 5% for orange cones.

In his second town hall meeting he used “humor,” (see also ridicule, Alinsky rule number 5). Specter is learning RAT political plays rather quickly.
