Bill Clinton's chief of staff when he was governor of Arkansas is expected to turn herself in after authorities issued a bench warrant for her arrest for allegedly smuggling contraband into a state prison, her attorney told CNN Wednesday.

Betsey Wright served Clinton as chief of staff for 7 years in Arkansas and ran 3 successful campaigns for governor.

Betsey Wright allegedly smuggled a red Doritos bag containing 48 tattoo needles, a pen with tweezers and a needle inside, a Swiss Army knife and a box cutter into the Varner Unit, a high-security state prison in Grady, Arkansas, according to the bench warrant.

Wright served Clinton as chief of staff for seven years in Arkansas and ran his successful campaigns for governor in 1982, 1984 and 1986.

Prosecutors allege that while Wright was on a visit to a prison in Grady, Ark. in May, guards X-raying her belongings found a bag of Nacho Cheese Doritos containing approximately 48 tattoo needles, a needle and tweezers hidden in a pen, a box-cutter and a Swiss Army knife. She allegedly said she'd found the bag of chips with the special surprises inside in a vending machine at the prison.

I recall that her former boss was in prison, for drug trafficking. The boss had employed Bill's drug-dealing half brother, who did inhale. Betsy ran the bond trading company while boss was in prison, and probably handled the drug dealing as well until she was recruited to run the house for Bill. Bill pardoned the boss. So who was she going to visit? Is her attorney from the Rose Law firm?
