Just a little curious here Mr. Gibbs, how many states are there in the country? Because last I heard, Barack Obama said their were fifty-seven.

“didn’t know if Hawaii was, or weren’t sure if Hawaii was, a state.”

Well, is it?

Inquiring minds want to know.

92% seem to know, 5% are functionally illiterate

Hell, 3% never know anything.

So, 92% of folks know Hawaii is a state. In other news, Zero thinks there’s 57 states. I can name 50 of them, but the other 7 might be real stumpers. :-)

On the rare occasions I'm not paying attention to caller ID and talk to some marketing research (I never get political pollsters), I try to screw them up.

LOL. Jay Leno was doing a Jaywalk skit in which he walks around and asks people historical questions.

One breezy day he asked a woman how many stars on the nearby American flag. She responded I don't know. It's flapping so hard in the wind I can't count them.

How about the following statistics that may have some truth to them:

1. 99% of Americans have not seen Obama's 1961 long form Hawaii birth certificate, and it looks like Obama won't let Americans take a look at it for a very long time, if he has anything to say about it.

2. And Obama will probably remain stubborn concerning the release of his long form birth certificate right up to the 2012 presidential primaries.

3. 99% of Americans----including ALL students and alumni at Occidental, Columbia, and Harvard----have not seen Obama's college records at Occidental, Columbia, and Harvard, and it looks like Hell will freeze over before Obama allows 99% of Americans to take a look at his Occidental, Columbia, and Harvard college records.

4. There is a 100% chance that the reason Obama is spending millions and counting to keep his 1961 Hawaii long form birth certificate and his Occidental, Columbia, and Harvard college records from the eyes of a judge and the public is this: There is something politically damaging to Obama in those documents.
