That '90s Show, Starring the Clintons

After losing to Barack Obama last year -- and then having to go work for him -- one would have thought that some of Hillary Clinton's fabled anger would have come to the surface before now.

But, of course, the lady usually can hold all these things back -- except when it involves Bill Clinton.

That truism was on display Monday when the usually unflappable secretary of state just lost it in response to a Congolese student's rather innocent question -- which was actually mistranslated to Secretary Clinton:

It’s so nice to see that the Clintons have maintained a loving respect for each other.

If this had happened in the US, it would be acceptable behavior for anyone in Obama’s administration...but it didn't happen here. She blew up at someone in their own nation. If Obama wasn't such a huge disgrace himself, this would be grounds for calling Hillary home to be removed from her office. I thought the mantra of the Democrats was to improve our standing in the international community?

I love it when the mask slips. Good thing there were no ashtrays nearby.

You want me to tell you what my husband thinks?" she replied incredulously when the male student asked her what "Mr. Clinton" thought of World Bank concerns about a multi-billion-dollar Chinese loan offer to the Congo.

"My husband is not secretary of state, I am," an obviously annoyed Clinton said sharply. "If you want my opinion, I will tell you my opinion. I am not going to be channeling my husband.

Funny, she didn't mind running on Bill's record when she ran for president. What's the problem now???

Maybe things are not so great between her and Bill . . . .

I'm just sayin'.

Maybe things are not so great between her and Obama either... Kinda reminds me of a pathetic song written and performed by a great musician and his pathetic wife..."Nobody told me there'd be days like these. Nobody told me there'd be days like these. Nobody told me there'd be days like these. Strange days indeed ..."

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas...

In the past I’ve got a clinton-hating pedigree greater than anyone. . but Hillary was absolutely right in her response to the question. In fact things are so bad I look to Hillary as a voice of moderation. Maybe her daddy instilled some American values deep within her. . in other words, give the lady some slack compared to the divine one, she’s downright refreshing!

I can just picture Slick in bed with two hookers, replaying Hillary's blowup on the Tivo over and over, laughing his tail off.

The questioned was mistranslated. The guy meant to ask what President Obama thought of the trade deal. Shrillary blew it big time.

“In fact things are so bad I look to Hillary as a voice of moderation.”

I’ve been feeling the same way...but let’s not delude ourselves and get complacent! Hillary’s! STILL the Enemy, even though she was the ‘devil we knew’ versus the one we didn’t!

THe folly continues. Joe Biden would have handled this better.

SecState's are exepected to be at the center of events & policy-making. Hillary is not even in the same zip code with all the "special envoy's" and "policy czars" appointed by Obama. Hillary's rant may have had as much to do with her idleness as it does with any bitterness toward her nominal husband.
