I’d take Rumsfeld over Grahamnesty any day.

For example, Grahamnesty voted for Sotomayor— hard to imagine Rummy doing that.

With Republicans like Graham, Snowe, Collins, McCain, Gregg, etc. The Democrats really have a 70-30 majority in the Senate.

Republicans lost the Congress & 2008 election because of Graham & his pal McCain.

Grahamnesty is a media whore. If there’s a camera or a reporter around he’s going to make sure he’s the one they talk to.

Rummy is a great American from the old school and IMO much maligned. Lindsy couldn't shine his shoes.

McCain is running for re-election and will remain relatively quiet until after November 2010, except for the days that he forgets to take his Aricept...lest he give Simcox fodder to use against him.

Instead we should do a “Lindsey”....and allow as many drug-dealers enter our border so that we do not upset those already here illegally.

I’m aware. But it seems like this is the sort of comment McCain normally delivers. Perhaps McCain gave it to Grahamnesty to use.

I mostly agree with you.

Except that Rummy was wrong on Iraq and Graham was right. Rummy was brilliant on the war originally but totally screwed up the occupation. The success of the surge proved that.

One of the things that really pissed me off was Rumsfeld's resignation the day after the election in '06.

Had Bush demanded his resignation sooner the election may have gone much better.

Whom ever is running against this Rhino Media Hound is going to get my support. That goes for a Republican in the primary or a Democrap if Gramnisty makes it to the general election. I intend to do the same with Collins, Snow, McCain. We need to start a Rhino Safari List to help us track the ten biggest and fattest Rhino’s so we can all contribute to their opponents. This would make a great website! Limit it to the ten biggest Rhino’s as voted by visitors, Jungle theme. www.rhinohunt.com! Any HTML experts out there?

The timing on Rumsfeld exit was determined by progress of the Iraq Study Group.

Gates ultimately had to resign from ISG to take the Sec Def job.

If Graham was a republican instead of a useless chicken shit, he would have warned the 'rats against pulling another LBJ.

The parallels between Afghan and VietNam are becoming far more compelling than the exmple of Iraq.

Of course when you have your nose in democrat rectal defilade it's hard to recon the territory.

I think you might want to note McCain votes much more conservatively than the others on your list.
