People have already forgotten all about the GATES incident

In scanning through the tv stations I've came across two occasions in the last couple of weeks where Gates was on for an extended time. Both were on C-Span, one was about an encyclopedia he helped develop and the other I heard was about Lincoln, etc. For some reason he is being kept out in public view it seems to me.

Expand on that please as I live in Cincinnati, which is about 40% hyphenated-Americans (with a gay black mayor, clueless thug-ette Cole on council) and let me tell you, the kool-aid flows freely in this town.

Actually many black voters are more conservative than most whites if you talk to them about basic attitudes concerning the role of government. Unfortunately most of them seem unable to sort out the truth from the constant barrage of lies coming at them from the Democrats. I can testify from direct knowledge that the majority of black people in my area think that Abraham Lincoln was a Democrat and that every piece of legislation that ever benefitted black people was passed by Democrats who had to overcome Republican resistance. They think Strom Thurmond was a Republican when he was a staunch segregationist, they don’t know he was ever a Democrat and they never heard of the “Dixiecrats”. They also think George Wallace was a Republican when he was standing in school house doors to stop black children from entering. If they ever heard of “Bull” Connor they think he was a Republican. It seems that the majority of what they KNOW about politics is dead wrong. If black people ever start living in the real world the Democrats will be a fringe party that will never win another election.

What I don’t understand is the willingness of black people to disregard any black person who tells them the truth about politics. Alan Keyes, Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams and many others who are revered by white people are thrown under the bus by blacks.

One black conservative that I have known for years spoke at the recent tea party near my home and was very well received but if I mention his name to other black people around here they speak of him with contempt. They cannot stand it when he asks them why do they keep voting for a party that wants to keep them in bondage.

The president said: “I think it’s fair to say, number one, any of us would be pretty angry.”

Pretty angry because a private citizen saw a possible burglary and the police response was rapid?

I think it’s fair to say, number one, how great to live in a good community. And number 2) how stupid of Harvard Professor Gates not to understand the misunderstanding. Eh? What? Me a burglar?! No I live here, look (shows ID and has a jolly good laugh with white cop). Now that’s how racism is transcended (things like racisim don’t “end” they just fade away).

It’s called morality, common sense, humor, virtue...

The president’s statement: “I think it’s fair to say, number one, any of us would be pretty angry” - is absolute proof of indecent values and of how UNAMERICAN he is to the core.

Dr. Gates couldn’t have asked for better. A private citizen and the local law RUSHED to protect his property. He was a beneficiarly of GOOD and he reacted like a wet rooster on LSD.

That situation was literally made by God for smiles, handshakes, an offer of a cup of coffee, good feeling and jollity. Anything else simply doesn’t make sense (in a moral world).

"GOP Sees Opportunity With White Voters After Gates Saga "

That title clearly says it all!

The morons running the GOP ignore all the outrage in this country among the base over taxes, cap and kill, and obamanation deathcare and, instead, plan on jousting at windmills! What a hopeless group of misfits!

"The problem is the GOP have not a single gonad amongst them. "

Amen!
