RALEIGH (AP) — The former mistress of John Edwards arrived at a federal courthouse in Raleigh where a grand jury was meeting Thursday — an appearance that comes as federal investigators examine the two-time presidential candidate's finances.
Rielle Hunter walked into the building through a back entrance and holding a young child.
Edwards adamantly denied during his confessional interview with ABC News last summer that he had fathered a child with Hunter, and he welcomed a paternity test. His wife, Elizabeth, has said while promoting her book that she doesn't know if her husband is the father.

WHY would she bring the child with her? The only reason would be to get media attention. No one in their right mind would take a young child with them for court testimony.
Well, the old line is.."You don't pay a hooker to stay, you pay her to leave."
It looks like Mr. Edwards may be looking at an 18-year obligation. That is one expensive tab for a few nights of lust.
It’s not only that,
Besides the money issue, Spitzer’s whore at least was a honey.
Edwards was easily the best looking whore in his deal and his was a bowser.
