Levi was dressed up for dinner with me, photographer Marc Lester, and his advisors, criminal defense attorney Rex Butler and private investigator Tank Jones. He had on nice leather shoes, slacks and a designer T-shirt under a gray North Face jacket. Up close under the restaurant lights, I could see that his facial hair was patchy and his cheeks were round and soft. He's only 19, but that's easy to forget.

The author’s writing seemed like something a teenager of high school newspaper would write, like a freshman/sophomore age. I was amazed that she had been writing for years - she seemed practically giddy writing about him. Completely unprofessional.

The article implied twice that poor Levi had been just “thrown into this situation” (not an exact quote) and that all of this stuff had just “happened to” him. As if he didn’t bear any responsibility for certain actions! Actions which resulted in them being “punished with a baby,” as some might say.

She is just about 30, she went to HS with my children - so a funny sidenote.
She does write just like a HS kid - I thought it was just me.
The ADN doessn’t pay all that well and it shows in both bad writing and very poor/non-existant fact checking.
