The President might want to keep an eye on the cute Beatle.
Paul McCartney made no secret of his admiration - or is it adoration? - of Michelle Obama at his Washington-area concert on Saturday night. "I love you, I love you, I love you. That's all I want to say," he sang. "I need to, I need to, I need to, I need to make you see. Oh, what you mean to me." The knighted, besotted singer dedicated the love song "Michelle" to the First Lady during his concert at FedEx Field, NBC Washington reported.

Other than that moment, the concert was one of the best concerts I have attended.
Right up there (in different ways) with Rush, John Denver, Johnny Cash, Jimmy Buffett and the Moody Blues.

Idiot! He and the Beatles were idiots when they first came to the U.S. And, they still all
I remember some of their answers to questions they were asked as they deplaned. The questions were idiotic, as were their answers.

To: blueglass
Please tell us, Paul, what has Michelle done to make you love her? Is it because she’s the First Lady? No, that can’t be it. He didn’t serenade Laura Bush. Maybe because she’s black? Maybe because he’s an elitist butt-sniffer who rose out of the puddles of Liverpool to become just another rich guy who thinks he knows better? what crap

The First Lady had already “left the building” when he sang the song. I guess the “Kodak Moment” was lost in scheduling. She was on her way to Camp David. Too bad, so sad.
To: blueglass
what is the song that says, “that girl is a guy..”
thats the one he needs to dedicate to her/him/it.

The Press is infamous for inventing quotes, and stuffing them in people’s mouths. Sadly, nothing new here. I told my children years ago not to talk to these jackals. I ended up looking like the wise old man, a few months ago, when there was a small fire at my daughter’s school. A woman came up and asked her a few questions, then revealed she was with The Daily Rag. When the story was published, she said “Dad, you were right, I didn’t say any of those things, except my name!”
SOS, different day. They do call it a “story”, for a reason.

Was he singing "Baggy Ass Blues" to her?

Paul McCartney dedicates love song 'Michelle' to Michelle Obama during Washington D.C. concert
And Yesterday could be dedicated to Obama (as well as Harrison's Taxman).
Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away
Now it looks as though they're here to stay

McCartney without Lennon was rubbish and vice versa. On their own they sucked.
The best songwriter on his own in The Beatles was George.

Not necessarily. He's a Brit and aging. Blindness happens with age.
However the middle photo is certainly a photo of a tacky 3rd world dictator demanding obeisance.

Good to hear. Where did the Daily News go wrong? He said something to the effect "this is a song someone in the house down the road might want to sing". Or something close to that. At any rate, it's was a dedication by any stretch of the imagination.

Exactly. John probably would tell Paully “thats a bit daft” when Paul had some syrupy rubbish.
(see Silly Love Songs, Ebony & Ivory plus dozens more for Paul’s crap)
Lennon had endless solo clunkers as well.

I share your sentiments. I saw him in the Kingdome in ‘76 and he was great then. He lost it after that. If he came to Seattle again I would walk to Spokane if necessary.
