Axelrods out of his cage again. Internals must really stink. You knew that was the case when Obama came out to address the media on Friday. Rasmussen's numbers today confirm it.

Good Morning and Happy Sunday, All! Well, the Friends have been doing health care all morning and it's not good news for Boy Wonder. On page 389, Dr. Marc Siegel discovered the term "mentally retarded" which has created an uproar for the obsolete thinking in the bill. The doc points out that Congress hasn't even read the first 400 pages! Fr. Morris was quite animated on the future of the private sector not only in Catholic hospitals.
Jamie Colby's show later this morning will feature a doctor guest at 11:45 who is leading a grassroots effort to tell the truth on Obamacare. She appeared with the Friends and spelled out all the horrors of this plan. Fox Biz Channel's Terry Keenan wrote an editorial pointing out how the Dems screamed that W "rushed to war" but not about Barry rushing with health care. At least Fox is getting the message out round the clock.
Lastly, Joe Biden has an op-ed out today on the stimulus money and the first sentence blames Bush. You can call the Weekend Friends silly, but Dave Briggs BLASTED Barry & Co. saying that they own this economy now.
Dennis the Kook is on now on health care...oh boy!

Obie likes sports analogies. I heard an appropriate sport analogy for his Gates gaffe. He was about to be sacked and instead of just throwing the ball away he threw a jump ball into the air that was picked off and taken back for six.

Thanks for that report.
But we all know, Faux News is Republican, and so is Rasmussen, so nyah, nyah, nyah!
I once had a liberal tell me I could debate him, but I couldn’t use Fox News as a source, as everyone knew they were biased.
Yeah, that’s why so many people watch them, as their revenues go up and they gain ratings while the rest of the drivebys tank....

Good morning, Alas!

The most amazing thing about this was when Obie started lecturing US about this "teachable moment".
The only teachable moment would have been to explain how Mr. Gates should have been more cooperative and shown more respect for the rule of law and enforcers of same.

This is a real problem with liberals. They cannot define what the middle is, nor what's left or right. They believe they are being reasonable and logical, when in fact they are radical. A debate is impossible using different definitions for terms.

President Bush considered using our military to round up the terrorists in Buffalo.
Ultimately the FBI was able to complete the round up and they were taken into custody.
Since it was bubba who first used our military against WACO, the msm will conveniently ignore that fact.

The best way to handle this very lame news is to laugh at it; ridicule it, especially if Liberals are around. I’ll even add, “I bet he thought about using the military on Dan Rather, too!”
To: Carley
Jeeze, what a great point! This totally slipped my mind as the Democrats and media are attacking Dick Cheney.
Hrumph, Bush thought of it, Clinton did it. Quite a difference.

The only teachable moment would have been to explain how Mr. Gates should have been more cooperative and shown more respect for the rule of law and enforcers of same. Another would be not to comment on something you don't have all the facts about. Advice Obama ignored from himself.

Another would be not to comment on something you don't have all the facts about. Advice Obama ignored from himself. This poses a problem since zero has no experience or understanding of issues other than community organizing and inflaming voters. If zero cannot talk about things he does not understand, he won't be able to talk at all.

Correct. In his experience as a community organizer cops are stupid so he was stunned that not everyone shared what he thought to be a universal truth.

Someone at my wife's work must have told her to challenge me when I made derogatory remarks about bammy and his health care crisis and where I got the info about where all the talk about socialization of America comes from. I first mentioned Rush and other talk show hosts, then went to Fox and the internet. She began to scoff and say that those sources are just so far right it's almost as bad as some extreme left sources. Then I began to mention sources like the N.Y. Times and Washington Post in reference to his faltering health care and his poll numbers that haven't been reported by the alphabets. I invited her to go on line and check the sources of all my information(not from the ‘’kooks’’ like Rush, Hannity and Beck, but from sources she actually would accept as legitimate. Her shallow smirk became one of loss and confusion. She and I agree about everything but politics and the money I spend on my 57 Biscayne (that I had on blocks in my parents garage since 64.) We never use to really discuss politics until this mutt became leader of the free(not for long)world. She was independent and now just confused. Some of her co-workers must have said to her to challenge me and watch me fold like a cheap suit, but when I didn't( and didn't even have specific facts at the top of my head) she was the one whose balloon deflated in a heart beat. I didn't push the issue, but reinforced her incentive to become more informed and so we can have honest conversations about politics. Who knows, I may be wrong about my beliefs (and then probably not).

The same reporter who threw out the press conference softball about Cambridge has an article in today's paper about 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue being the 51st Ward of Chicago.
That means as long as the potholes are fixed and the garnage gets picked up, the lifers get re-elected. Of course, setting back race relations 10 or 20 years in this country is not a big deal to these people.

Gingrich was also touting the benefits of bi-partisanism. He sounded allot like John McCain with their reaching-across-the-aisle-BS.
Gingrich acts like he is part of the GOP on Capitol Hill. IIRC, he resigned his House Speakership and basically walked away from his House Rep seat.
Yet, he was touting 'his' health plan with we, we, we.

Many generals have lost battles because they assumed their opponent was no longer a threat.
To: mainepatsfan
It is my understanding that the suggestion came from the Sergeant. This is a great way to prolong the story!
Keep it going, altho I suspect it will never happen as the summer break is upon us.
Maybe the won and Gates will invite Sergeant Crowley to Martha’s Vineyard.
