So let them monitor this site. We know they do. I will never ever vote for the best of two evils again and you can take that to the bank. I will NOT hold my nose and vote for someone I really do not think is the right person for the job. McCain was the last straw. I said I would write in a fictional character before voting for McCain but then he added Sarah and I voted for her.

During the primary I was a diehard Romney supporter. I did NOT like McCain or Huckabee and Thompson, Tancredo and Hunter could NOT garner any traction. When McLame won the primary, I really wanted Romney as the VP. I was feeling quite helpless with our choices and what we were faced with on the other side.

Then, McLame picked Palin and....voila!!! I dropped Romney like a hot potato and never looked back. And I PRAY Palin runs for POTUS in ‘12 as she is a true, solid conservative. Something we have not seen in a long time that also gets the crowds and attention.

I really don’t believe I need to defend her here, or anywhere for that matter, as I see all concerns for her completely dissapating as soon as she hits the road in the next few weeks. When she gets out there and starts defending the Constitution,the American people and the capitalism, I believe we will all see her as a true leader of the CONSERATIVE movement.

I don’t mean to offend any Romney supporters on here but if he gets the 2012 nomination he will just be another younger version of Johnny Mac. His weakness in the South, as evident in the ‘08 primaries, is profound. Three years is a long time away but I just don’t see Romney winning any more electoral votes than Mac, unless The One would have a complete collapse, which it seems could soon be reality. I don’t think he can, or will, win. The GOP must nominate a TRUE CONSERVATIVE, no RINOs, a TRUE CONSTITUTIONALIST. These “open” Republican primaries where independents can vote must STOP. Republican primaries should be open to only registered Republican voters. The GOP must stop people from other parties nominating our candidates for president, then we might have a fighting chance.

It was Jim Robinson and a band of true conservative Freepers that smoked out the infestation of despicable RINO-RudyBots in the now famous "FR Bug Zapper Thread" and I daresay that was instrumental in beginning the erosion of Rudy's initial support in the GOP, once people began to understand that he was a LIBERAL, they saw that he was unsuited to represent what was once the Party of Reagan.

I am proud to have participated in that thread and make no apologies for it. FR was cleansed of the Rudy-stench, just as it will be cleansed of the RomneyScum (c) that are trying to foist a Massachusetts liberal loser upon us.

It is still far too early to say who will make the best GOP candidate for 2012, at the present time Sarah Palin certainly appears to have the momentum in her favor. But we damn sure can say who will NOT be a suitable candidate and who will NOT make the cut, and that is the son of brainwashed George Romney (Class of '68) Willard, who is a lying two faced liberal faux conservative if there ever was one.

I don't have the deep seated dislike of Romney that some here do, but I think he's a loser for a national candidacy.

Although we're going over a cliff with 0bama, I'm still grateful that John McCain isn't in the WH. Can you imagine the coverage Meghan McCain would get if she was the first daughter? Can you imagine how insulting McCain would be to conservatives if he were in the WH? He could barely stand us when he was asking for our votes.

Romney is much more of a chameleon. Whenever I heard him speak, I got the feeling there wasn't any core belief; simply a recitation of what he thinks will get votes.

Limbaugh has warned Republicans time and time again that the media is not their friend. The media advises Republicans not to go negative. They adored John McCain (until he was nominated.) Now, they're advising us to shout down the people asking about Zero's birth certificate, jettison Sarah Palin, and adopt Meghan McCain as a spokesperson for the social values of the party. Anybody who takes the Drive By media's advice probably spent their childhood years drinking urine out of a beer bottle because their "friends" told them it was a new brand.

Romney is not my first, second, or third choice, but he could win.

There has never been anything to show that, instead his 16 year political record shows that he isn't a winning or popular or likable politician.

His one win was in the 2002 governor race when he became the fourth in a row republican governor for Massachusetts, unfortantly he left with failed polling numbers and turned the state over to democrats.

The 2008 primary should have been a win for Romney based on all the factors aside from him, he had all the money, the organization, everything, but he is a weak, unlikable candidate and he can't overcome that, even now his polling is flat against a woman that hasn't had a positive word said about her in the media since the first day of her national appearance less than 11 months ago.

If there is anyone here who doesn’t understand why we cannot support a slick socialist politician like Mitt Romney, God help you, but you’re on the wrong website. We went through this with the abortionist, gay rights activist, illegal alien supporting, gun grabbing Rudy Giuliani until someone created another website call WAnkers for Rudy and they all flew the coop. You never know where he honestly stands on any issue. What he promises today, he flips on tomorrow. It all depends on which way the political winds are blowing and which office he’s running for. He’s a liar.

He’s a big government socialist. His RomneyCare state run health care system is a big government boondoggle. It’s tyranny. Government provided, er, forced health care is tyranny not freedom or free markets. Do not believe the socialist propaganda supporting such nonsense.

Socialized medicine is simply another step to socialized government. Government solutions at the point of a gun are the opposite of what we need. This is socialism! Fascism! Mitt Romney is proud of his big government socialist creation and thinks it would be great for all of America. He wants to force you to accept what the state says is right for you. Your taxes will go up as government costs soar and the quality of the care you receive declines. High costs, long waits, rationing, poor or no service, big government force in other areas is where it leads.
