One senses in the air the battle lines being drawn between two world views, the one supported by the Democrats and the other supported by their opposites—gun owners, Christians, conservatives, small government types, lovers of liberty and upholders of American values over foreign values. There can be no possibility of compromise, for the first world view cannot be victorious unless the second worldview is annihilated.
This of course and by necessity means war. Nether side will go down without a struggle—but one of them will go down. We may as well come out and admit it. What shape this war will take is as yet hidden.
Need I belabor the obvious and say that there will be blood?

Scipio sums it all up. I’m not sure which side will start it, but sadly it looks more and more likely that “There will be blood.” I don’t see any other way out, because I don’t think Obama has any plans to step down, now that he is in power.

It is no coincidence that amoral people, who are their own moral guiding light, are what conservatives consider immoral. Without God as a guiding light people will always become evil.
The one engine that is exempt from any restrictions on performance. It is kept on max RPM’s regardless of the cost or damage it does. All in the name of hopey-changey or whatever the feelgood phrase of the moment is.
Something that should be pondered. Back during the campaign, there were a few, furtive comments about Obama as Antichrist. But strangely, this did not elicit the “outrage” which you would expect from his followers, but instead, a perverse “longing”.
That is, if their candidate Obama was indeed the Antichrist, his followers were tacitly thrilled with the idea, because that would mean that Obama was supernaturally powerful. That with that power, he would smite all those his followers hated, and give his followers what they wanted.
That the Antichrist would be the personification of evil would be unimportant, because his followers have rejected the idea that good and evil exist. A large percentage also hate and despise the very idea of Christ, so why not support His enemy? For them, Hell is Heaven, because it promises them their lusts.
In their bizarre philosophy, as Milton said of Satan in Paradise Lost, “Better to reign in hell, than serve in heav’n”; which seems to be the template of the Democrat party. They would rather ruin America, and rule over the ruins, then accept American success and prosperity, if it meant they could not rule.
Surely they are disappointed that Obama’s eyes do not glow red, as lightning comes forth from his fingertips. They do not care that their souls would be forfeit, because they do not believe in souls anyway.

The idea of a pagan style “god-king” is not repulsive to them. And such a thing would have deep philosophical roots for the left. They want a Nietzschean “Superman” to lead them. Someone like JFK, with his cult of personality, mixing and matching metaphors, as King Arthur and his Camelot. An absolute ruler over “The New Jerusalem”.
One of the reasons Obama is so attractive to them is that “he has no face”. He is a suit wearing mannequin. An animated lump of clay. As such he can be anything they want him to be. An ad hoc graven image for them to pray to.
It is highly unlikely that he is the Antichrist, but it’s not for want of trying.
