The Freepers are playing with fire again. Most recently, they received national media attention for calling 11-year old Malia Obama "a ghetto whore" among other hateful and racist things. Now, check out this post by 'patriotgal1787'. Especially, the last bullet point she raises declaring a "blood bath" as the only way to rid themselves of Obama. I don't believe that this is the first time the FreeRepublic site has featured posts suggesting bloody violence be committed against the President, but their insanity seems to ratchet up weekly. Perhaps, they are only full of hot air, but this suggestion by iodiotgal1787 would seem to violate the law and should draw the interest of the Secret Service. In any case, right-wingers continue to radicalize toward critical-mass. Here's that link:

That’s horrible. She’s a little girl.
During the Bush presidency the Liberal websites to include the Daily Kommunists and the DUmmies, advocated violence towards the administration practically on a daily basis.
Of course none of this is ever pointed out. And I doubt anyone here would advocate violence against the Osama family.
Not sure if that was directed at the girl. Probably the mom. Regardless, it was pulled.

The author apparently does not know that Patriotgal was not the author, rather it was one of the guys at Canada Free Press. And he was mostly accurate.

Like anything, an open forum will attract crazy people...the difference between our site is we usually take them down. I don’t remember an ounce of coverage for all the terrible, sexist things that were said against the Bush girls and all the threats and hate speech directed at President Bush. But because we are Conservative, we must watch ourselves even more. If anyone sees a post that really does not befit our site, please report it.

I guess it means we've done something right but I don't think it's going to be so very comfortable until the rest of the country figures out that their next vote needs to be a lot better thought out than the last.

I agree with you, and I believe most of us here would. My experience has been most of the folks here seem to be quite decent people. Having said that, you have to remember this is an open forum. You have people coming here trying to make FR look bad, and unfortunately, we probably have a few nuts or mean folks among us. The thing is, it seems to me the powers that be at FR make a good, honest effort to pull things that cross the line. I can’t say the same for some of the sites on the left.-—JM
That’s the problem with most negative essays on the “evildoers at Free Republic.” Most of the time, the author has no clue how things work here. Chris Parry did the same thing. He assumed that FR moderates every single comment posted and we don’t.

Yes, you have identified one of the rules. It is OK to suggest that the young female children of Republican elected officials be raped by major league baseball players, but the children of Democrats are out of bounds. In the real world, saying and writing horrible things about any child is reprehensible. And the horrible things that were written here were written by trolls from the likes of KOS, etc. who seem to have a vested interest in making us look bad.

However there is reason to believe some of the nastier posts may well have been libtard plants/trolls especially since the guy who wrote the “national attention” article confessed to being a liar and posting stuff at FR and other places to make conservatives look bad..
