The blue dogs can do a lot of things. They can bring all these Czars under congressional oversight. But what they can do, and what they will do, depends on their personal courage. I am waiting for it to emerge.
I don’t care who or how it’s killed as long as it’s killed in it’s entirety.
Personally i’d prefer we go back to what we had 50-60 years ago, insurance was non existant and government wasn’t involved in medicine.
The unions started the insurance garbage and it’s downhill ever since.
When the rubber hits the road all Dems are Yellow dog Dems. They’d vote for yellow dog if it ran as a dem. These pols will what they are told. What Pelosi will look for is a handful of RINOS to vote for this catastrophe so that some of the so called blue dogs will be able to vote no as a cover. Just what happened in cap and tax.
Yeah, the blue dogs are brave until they get that midnight call from Rahm Emanuel or one of his goons, threatening them and their families. Then suddenly they will get back into line.

The next 3 and a half are a peice of cake compared to the second 3 and a half as it stands...

I tell them to look at the other countries, and look at Massachusetts, where you now have to pay MORE, get LESS and wait in lines.
Also, the government will have more control of our health care, and individual and families will have less control. This will hurt senior citizens the most. Tom Daschle, who anticipated being the Secretary of Health and Human Services head at the time, helped write the health care restrictions and said health care reform: “will not be pain free and seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age instead of treating them.”

How ironic that Laura Ingram bad mouths Sarah Palin. Sarah Palin wants to promote conservatives from whatever party and Laura Ingram is groveling to blue dog democrats to get what she wants with no intention of otherwise promoting them...Who shows more class in that picture?

There is plenty we can do.....to try to stop the Tax and Trade and zerocare.
Yes, call and write the blue dogs - they need courage - they will be harrassed endlessly and, yes, visited by the goon squads no doubt.
Call and write other DEMS in the Senate along with any possible wavering Repubs - we know who they are.
Call and write your local TV news programs - editorialize on their websites.
Call local businesses who would suffer under both of these draconian measures....ask THEM to call the blue dogs and their Dem Senators.
Call, write, email senior citizens you know because half of the zerocare bill is going to be paid on “savings” from Medicare!!!! Medicare = rationing for seniors - coming their way if this passes.....just as a start of their nightmare on Zerocare.
There is plenty we can do.
ALL IT TAKES FOR EVIL TO TRIUMPH IS FOR GOOD PEOPLE TO DO NOTHING.
We really need to be in the streets but doing that would likely be too little too late.
Eventually, should these both pass, I am SURE we will be in the streets.

You got that exactly right, and Ted Kennedy was the tool they used to get it done. Kennedy is the culprit behind the HMO legislation - the first step of the assembly-line medicine they used to slowly herd the sheep into socialized medicine where bureaucrats make your decisions for you. Kennedy is leading the way on what the 'RATS are trying to cram down our throats today, too.
There are people today who never knew anything other than HMO-style "medicine" and think that's the way we've always done it. Hell No! Stalinist DemocRATS (who else?) took something that wasn't broke and proceeded to break it big time! I was against HMOs then and I'm against them now.
I have no problem with those who prefer to have others do their thinking for them, but they'll have a MAJOR problem with me the minute they try to force their sniveling greedy dependent ways on me just because they can't make what they want to happen without using my money.
