Daily Kos Kiddie "Cat M" has sent me two e-mails this morning responding to the thread I posted last night about Cat's comment threatening to sic the Secret Service on Jim Robinson. Cat claims I misrepresented the remark.
Here are Cat's two e-mails presented in their entirety:

I did not "threaten" to "sic" the Secret Service on anyone. It is not even within my power to do so; I do not exactly have a hotline to the Secret Service. I heard somewhere that you are a lawyer. Didn't your education include classes on reading comprehension? If I were threatening to "sic" the Secret Service on someone, I would say, "I am going to call the Secret Service and report this."
What I said was, "Someone is due for a visit from the Secret Service again." Translated, this means that I think the Secret Service should investigate people who make inflammatory, anti-American comments like these that appear to threaten the president indirectly by positioning him as someone who is out to destroy the country, thus encouraging violence against him.
You have my e-mail. If you ever want clarification on something I said, you can just ask. But that is not the point is it? You really just wanted some red meat to throw out to the animals at your site who feast on that kind of garbage.

I read through the entire thread of responses, and it amazes me how uniformly everyone replies. Do you send out talking points?
It also amazes me how much you and your posters lie. The fact is you did not pull the thread attacking Malia Obama immediately. It was there for several hours, and people continued to pile on with racist garbage. If you do not agree that it was racist garbage, then why did you ultimately pull the thread? If you recognize--as you should--that it was racist garbage, then why does your site owner continue to defend it?
I also find it offensive that somehow you equated me with the idiot who suggested using a dildo on someone, as though this was a comment I had any part in; I did not.
Clearly, you do not believe in honesty. You prefer to spin and misrepresent things and false depict people as the villains in your anit-them story. Perhaps you are still hurting from your poor performance on MSNBC the other day and the comments made about your appearance there. Is that what motivated you to falsely accuse someone of saying something they did not actually say? It is just astonishing to me that not one of the responses pointed out that it does not actually threaten to call the Secret Service on anyone. It is a bit like seeing a very dirty person on the street and saying to a companion, "Someone needs a bath, I think." I am not actually threatening to bathe the person.
Why am I explaining this to you? I guess I have a modicum of hope that there is actually a brain residing in there somewhere and that you will drop this facade and acknowledge the obvious truth: you have a lot of racist posters at your site, the owner of your site encourages it and also encourages anger at the president, and you misled your readres about what I said.
Even if you do not correct the record, however, I am not intimidated by you or your efforts to smear me, and nobody I respect would care about anything you had to say anyway. Free Republic is little more than a cesspool, where the lowbrow go to practice group think and say nothing that bears repeating anywhere.
I think you are envious of Daily Kos; its members include published authors (of legitimate books), media figures, politicians, and educated people (self-educated or collegiate) who can post intelligently on a variety of subjects. Maybe you should ditch the Free Republic. Being associated with it will never do anything for your reputation or your career.

Notice that Cat suggests that we are all racists here at FR; a reference to the fact that anyone who disagrees with zero is a racist. In the bizarre world of liberals, it is NOT possible to disagree witht eh politics of a “person of color” unless you are a racist.
I also found it amusing the way that Cat clumsily ignores the nasty, mean-spirited, hateful comments on Daily Kos that are routinely made about Bush, Cheney and conservatives, in general.

They wanted every ill under the Sun on President Bush, they wanted him destroyed, some of them woke up everyday wishing that President Bush will be physically hurt, they called him every bad name under the sun, they are still doing it even now, and yet they have the audacity to tell us to shut up when we say that Obama is destroying the country with his socialism, left wing liberalism, and appeasement on foreign policy.
The hypocrisy of these liberal fools is beyond shocking. Now we cannot practice our first amendment speech disagree with Obama or call him a socialist or say that he is destroying the foundation of our country because in the mind of these sick liberals this type of talk will inflame someone to hurt the President. These anti-American socialists want to shut us down and take away our rights. In the words of the President and the First Lady, our nation “must change”, the traditions and history of the past “must change”. Sounds like he’s out to destroy our nation’s legacy and he’s happy to do it.
He also has publicly spoken about how the Constitution is an obstacle to instituting some of the “social and economic justice” he thinks needs to take place (that unfairly targets individuals who are not of the protected political class).
He may not be physically destroying this nation but he’s repeatedly made statements that his goal is to overthrow the existing “unjust” social order.
Several hours from when it first was posted but how long after it was reported? Either way, several hours is pretty quick and at least she is contradicting the Olberman lie it was up for three days (a lie started by the first KOS diary on the issue). She is also acknowledging it was pulled, ie, our site doesn't tolerate crap like that. How long did it take to pull HollywoodOz's racist and violent posts from KOS? OH, they are still there after all these years.. We don't tolerate and we pull. They don't pull, so one can only conclude they tolerate and accept that kind of language.
So if Obama doesn’t agree with me, does that make him a racist?
