I hope Alan Keyes doesn’t become too linked to this....it seems there really is some substance to it, but having someone like Keyes too involved makes the issue look looney.

I do not believe there is a looney bone in Dr Keyes body. I do believe that he is an intense man who does not mince words to appeal to the moderates in our world.

If Dr. Keyes smells a RAT, I am going to pay attention.

Doesn’t Keyes have some claim to “standing” since he was a presidential candidate and therefore, damaged by the election of a faux?

Dobbs had this on his CNN show last night as well. Hannity did too. It’s picking up more mainstream channels.

Yep, I posted it last night on FR and again on this thread.

Good thing Dobbs is at CNN because if not for him, I doubt anyone over there would be reporting on this issue or on the illegals.

I agree Keyes is brilliant, he has been attaked by the liberal media similar to Palin; may conservatives have believed the talking points.

Much of Keyes’ problem is his demeanor. He is articulate and obviously very intelligent, but he just won’t shut up. He rattles endlessly, steamrolling anyone else in the room, and comes off sounding like an idiot.

Logically, yes. But “standing” is only granted to those who the Left will DEFINE as “having standing.” And that will be no one.

We will accept a truth revealing, passionate patriot like Keyes even if he seems a bit odd at times. Conservatism with zeal is so rare these days....let the brilliant Keyes be his quirky, non-perfect self.

WHAT?

I wasn’t that familiar with Alan Keyes before, but after the Notre Dame incident, I have come to love and admire him.

Dr Orly Taitz wasn’t even born here and SHE would make a GREAT Supreme Court Justice. She’s a Doctor and a Lawyer. She’s smarter than most of the people in DC.

Now you want to talk about a slightly looney person . . . Ron Paul. He’s taken some questionable stands. And I don’t trust him.

I think if Keyes sort of stuck to commentary and radio and quit running for office, he would have a serious role to play. But his foolhardy runs for office have diminished his credibility, in my mind. He will never, ever, ever, ever be elected to anything. So he shouldn’t run. His perennial candidacy is becoming embarrassing, which is why I consider him a bit looney.

I do think there is some substance to this story. It just needs to be pushed into the mainstream a bit more and so long as only the fringes are working the story, that is going to be difficult.

Then again...we don’t wait to peek too early. Sometime about October of next year would be perfect, I think....

I've often wondered if his running for office in the past election wasn't just so he would have standing to question Obama’s legitimacy...He may have learned something about him while in Illinois? (possibly everything had not be purged at that time)

It's called passion and very few GOP shades have ever been able to enjoy its fruits. Other than the errant erection or two each year, the GOP is basically a milquetoast bunch of mediocre local hacks. WE NEED FIRE!!!

Too late. Keyes has been "linked" since he filed a lawsuit 8 months ago. Keyes and the birther issue are made for each other. They're both loony.

and before I leave you for the day...

I'll tell you what is “loony”...

anyone who would spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on lawyers fighting numerous lawsuits in numerous states when a simple $12.50 Birth Certificate would suffice...unless that person was phony as a 3-dollar-bill.

Ya don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to figure out that there is something definitely not Kosher about Hussein!

Orly Taitz got her law degree online. She isn’t ABA accredited.

And Ron Paul owned people in the live Republican debates last year. Of course nothing came out of it because of the media’s insistence on labeling him as a third party lunatic, encouraging people to “not waste their vote.”
