2010 - (When adults again take over) Great article by a good author.

Next year's elections are going to produce a political earthquake. That is because we currently suffer the most left-wing government in our nation's history. After just 6 months in office, the flower children that rule Washington in overwhelming numbers are already smashing through all records regarding federal taxes, spending, deficits, and debt. Obama and his ultra-left Democrats adopted a so-called stimulus bill raising spending a trillion dollars that never had a prayer of actually creating jobs and promoting long-term economic growth, because it was based entirely on old-fashioned, brain dead, proven to fail, Keynesian economics. Though we would have to double federal taxes to finance the entitlement promises we have already made, the ruling Washington Democrats completely ignore that and focus instead on adopting yet another entitlement -- national health insurance -- that would be the biggest of all.

Global atmospheric temperatures are down over the last 11 years, and temperature trends during the 20th century were consistent with natural causes such as varying ocean current temperatures and solar activity, and not with the theory of manmade global warming and carbon dioxide emissions. Yet the left wing extremists that run Washington insist on adopting the largest tax increase in world history to reduce the use of oil, natural gas, and coal by 83%, which would effectively repeal the Industrial Revolution. Mandating high cost energy is only going to trash the economy for no good reason.

I wish they were just “Flower Children”, but they also include hard core socialists and communists bent on destroying our economy, our society and our way of life. This group is led by the biggest scam artist in history, The Kenyan Usurper in Chief Baraq Hussein mohammed 0bama.

Have you contacted your state legislators and urged them to sponsor and support state sovereignty resolutions?

This path is the only way that I see to preserve individual liberty.

The leftists/collectivists are consolidating power at the federal level. It will not be likely that they will be replaced - they control the election process now nearly as thoroughly as any dictator ever has. Remember, Saddam, the Soviets, Chavez, Iran, etc, all have “elections”, but the outcome is pre-determined.

I have contacted them immediately following the House’s approval of the Cap and Tax bill.

Our Governor Rick Perry has already mentioned a stronger option that Texas may deploy: Secession.

Sadly the GOP is almost as bad as the Dems.

We would need at LEAST a 70% turnover of normal honest non incumbents to even have a chance of doing any good. After Sarah Palin who would dare try?

Acorn & voter fraud is so wide spread and pervasive that only a purge will have a chance of doing any good.

Personally I think only a full reboot & purge is the only way. But those tend to be really messy.

Problem is, this isn’t the flower children we’re dealing with. It’s the sharp nosed, stringy haired bomb throwers that manipulated them, much like the crew from New York that ran the bolsheviks. These are mean spirited, anti-american, elitists seeking totalitarian power thru the dismantling of the institutions and foundations of the Country they despise.

No easy task undoing their damage.

2010 will be too late to fix what these idiots are doing now.

Voters need to get off of their butts and WRITE AND CALL THEIR REP’S DIRECTLY!!!

Petitions are nice, but direct mail has MUCH greater impact!

NO Gov’t “healthcare”,
NO Cap ‘n Tax!

Sadly, I agree with you. We are in a world of hurt and I can't get over the number of Freepers who are more than willing to keep these evil people in power rather than settle for a Republican they consider less than ideal.

Do everything we can to get the RATS out of power while we still have something left to save. Sadly, it may be too late.

Even if he IS right, at the rate they are going, it will already be gone, and good luck trying to bring it back.

“2010 will be too late to fix what these idiots are doing now.”

Agreed that Healthcare and Cap and Tax will be detrimental for the country and very difficult to unwind; however they do not have to be permanent and could be undone by subsequent administrations and Congress.

The issues I am keying on that cannot be undone and we cannot allow to happen are

1. making 20 million illegals US citizens to lock in Democrat party power

2. making DC or Puerto Rico new states to benefit the Dems

3. a nuclear strike on a US City caused by diminished defenses

These are what keep me up at night.

You got it, fuzzybutt.

We must make it a given that OUR OWN congressfool is OUT in 2010.

Good, bad or indifferent; republican, democrat or independent; liberal, conservative or somewhere in between ... they ALL have to go. And that means YOU have to vote YOUR congressman out.

Messy, maybe. But you can’t make an omelette without breaking eggs.
