Ousted Honduran President Manuel Zelaya says the Honduran people "have the right to insurrection" against the interim government that forced him out of the country.
Zelaya says that Honduran citizens also have the right to demonstrate and to stage strikes against the government of de facto President Roberto Micheletti, who has threatened to jail Zelaya if he tries to return.
Zelaya said at a joint news conference with Guatemalan President Alvaro Colom on Tuesday that "nobody owes allegiance to a usurper government."
Zelaya said "insurrection is a legitimate process."
Zelaya was toppled by a military-backed coup June 28. He is recognized by virtually all foreign governments.

Does this sacred right only apply to Hondurans, or to citizens of other countries?
(Like the US, quoting Hillary Clinton about dissent...)
Cheers!
Time for Zelaya to have an “accident.”
Lots of bananas in Guatemala to slip on.
Sorry chief! The Hondurans already insurrected when they tossed your goatsmellin’ ass out of their country in your PJs.
Only Zelaya’s supporters have this “sacred” right. If he had succeeded in overthrowing the Honduras government as he had planned to do when he was impeached and deported, he wouldn’t tolerate dissent of any kind.
G0 for it, commies. See how far you get against the constitution’s army.
did anyone think this would not be the next step of the real coup?
socialists need to make it look like they have popular support

LOL, that's a curious call to arms for a deposed president.
Given that the “interim government” consists of the same legislature, same supreme court, and same constitution as existed before Zelaya was removed, what exactly is “interim” about this government? Maybe the AP writer could explain. Because the fact that the government removed a president on constitutional grounds doesn’t mean the government has been downgraded to an “interim” one.
Maybe the AP writer could also explain how Micheletti is the “de facto” president. Given that he was appointed to according to the lawful processes of the Honduran constitution, legislature, and supreme court, the correct term would seem to be “de jure”.

Wow, be careful what you wish for Zelaya/0zer0. Be careful the company you keep.
Proverbs 29:2 (NIV)
2When the righteous increase, the people rejoice,
But when a wicked man rules, people groan.
“Only Zelayas supporters have this sacred right.”

Just like only libtards in the US have certain rights...”freedom of speech and objectivity” by the so called MSM only applies to them. Or how about special treatment regarding political corruption (either scandalous personal behavior or massive conflicts of interest). Which relates to the corrupt MSM.
Kind of like what Sarah did in Alaska to remove corruption; and UNLIKE McCain-Feingold.
Cheers!
“Maybe the AP writer could explain...Maybe the AP writer could also explain how Micheletti is the de facto president.”

Just following the proscribed story line...can you fault him, there are probably 4 out of work journalists, er, journal-hacks, that are waiting to take his Pravda job.
“I think we need an informed populace and greater than 40-45% voting, BY the informed populace; we need to clean out the party apparatchiks; and clear out the red tape which exists to defend the entrenched party bosses, lawyers, and lobbyists.

Agreed X 3...however, we’d best be doing this double time...this stupid debt time bomb is ticking against us all..
Cheers!

You know, I haven’t really noticed any of Zel’s thugs demonstrating on his behalf lately. Only thing I’ve seen is the Honduran people’s freedoms being given back to them.
“Zelaya was toppled by a military-backed coup June 28. He is recognized by virtually all foreign governments. “
Bare faced lie.
“Given that the interim government consists of the same legislature, same supreme court, and same constitution as existed before Zelaya was removed, what exactly is interim about this government? Maybe the AP writer could explain.”
Simple. The AP writer is a leftist POS.
“Except all the other marxists in this hemisphere like Chavez, Noriega, Castro...and Obama. “
Obama should be listed first ;-)
I agree wholeheartedly, however, the Hondurans already exercised this right comprade.
AK-47’s are on the way, made in Venezuela.
P.S. Along with volunteers and advisers.
