Just one year since he’s been gone? So much has changed since then. I would have loved to hear his perspective on BHO.

Tony Snow was an example for us all in so many ways.
Here's to you, my good man! I hope we all can measure up.

I miss him - he was always a pleasure to hear.

I miss Tony Snow. I had such a crush on him when he filled in for Rush, way back when. I was so excited to see that his looks matched his voice.

Thank you for the thread.
True, so much has happened in the last year, and I dearly wish we had Tony’s voice and humorous perspective on so many issues. My consolation comes from knowing that he is in heaven, and in whatever way still involved in faith, family and country. Tony had a huge impact on my life, and I thank him for his service to America. A gentleman in every sense of the word. Prayers are being offered for Tony and his family.

Yup, I was just meditating on his loss this past week, not realizing it’d been a year.
You were one of a kind, Tony! And you weren’t here nearly long enough. See you when we see you in heaven.

Thanks for mentioning Tony. Saw both Tony and Rush speak at the same event in Chicago 5-6 years ago. I don’t think I’ll ever forget that. It seems like Tony’s been gone longer than just one year.

I’m not sure what is more difficult to accept ... thousands of posts on FR regarding Michael Jackson and less than fifty on this thread for a passionate, great American like Tony Snow. Hopefully more will see this and post.
Decent people remember Tony. He is dearly missed but in a much better place. May he rest in peace.

My ‘he’s in a better place’ philosophy leaves me in Tony Snow discussions. While that is true, our place has been left a lot less hopeful in his passing. His soul, I am sure, rests in peace. I pray for his family.

Thank you for posting this lovely column and for starting the thread.
It was a Saturday morning last year. I was the first one up and sat down at the computer for a bit before heading out to the gym--just as I am today. I saw the news and started crying. I have never cried for anyone I didn't know like I cried (and still do at times!) for Tony.
Many of us were quite concerned and uneasy as he had canceled appearances and was out of the public eye for some time---but still, it was such a shock. I was surprised at the depth of my grief for him--and it was such a comfort to find that others felt the same way.
We lost a national treasure a year ago. The Snow family lost so much more. They are often in my prayers.

I don't know if there is a new Tony Snow thread (I read somewhere that the cool kids don't do searches on FR ;) but, the first Fox tribute this morning was quite wonderful.
Thanks, RWI and FoxFanVox!
