It would be nice if we could evacuate any FReepers and other right minded folks, then let the God forsaken state fall off into the ocean.

It would literally be analogous to culling a dead limb on a tree as far as the country is concerned....

‘Cept then all the oil, gold and other goodies locked up in the state (and that the touchy feelies won’t let us at now) would be gone too (not that it’s actually ever going to “fall off” or sink)...

California is probably more conservative than many states per capita. It has the 7th largest economy in the world. The largest ag economy in the nation, etc..

It is a great state with a few nut jobs; like most states.
