The latest concerns focus on a letter purportedly sent by Obama to Honolulu's Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women and Children in which the commander in chief outright declares his birth at the facility.

I do not believe he actually sent a letter to the facility at which he was born. Why would he do this? Odd, if true, but I don't believe it.

Looks like typical politician bs, like Hillary claiming to be both a Yankee’s fan and a Red Sox fan.. we also don’t know who actually wrote it and stamped it with a signature stamp.

Politicians have staffs to sent ‘commemoration’ letters .. every Eagle Scout gets a presidential commmendation letter with the White House logo and presidential (machine) signaure. They are fairly common.

It’s not as if Obama sat there and dictated a letter to a secretary who typed it up for his personal signature. The letters do have to go thru channels before being sent, but something like this is fairly pro forma, except for the line about his being born in that hospital.

I’d imagine Abercrombie’s staff drafted the letter and sent it to Obama’s staff, timing it for after he was in office but before the centennial of the hospital.
