Hey little Ricky! If this is true, why did the ROOKIE DemocRAT representative from my district vote against it? Hmmmmmmmm? Couldn’t be because of all the coal mining operations and coal burning power plants in her district, could it? What a moron.

"According to the Environmental Protection Agency, coal use will be greater under this bill in 2020 than it is at the present time"That loud sound you hear is the BS detector going off.
How can any Bozo say that with a straight face?
And how can any self-respecting reporter take a comment like that without laughing out loud in his face?!
Think: if there were a shred of truth to it, then the "smart money" at coal companies would be lining up to support the bill. And T.Boone Pickens would be investing in mines instead of wind mills.

“During the campaign Obama said energy prices will skyrocket. Who is lying, Boucher or Obama?”
The correct answer is of course both. And Congress Critter Boucher, you are a lying s.o.b. that deserves to be shown the door. You haven't even a clue what's in the bill you voted for. Nobody read it before they voted on it. Not one.
The whole global warming issue is a scam and those that sign onto the scam are fools. Depart with your own money, keep your hands off mine.

I wonder if Rep. Rick Boucher (D-VA-9th District) will be willing to personally guarantee his silly assertion.
To: Jet Jaguar
Boucher also says the bill he endorsed wont eliminate a single job. He does standup comedy too I'll bet.

Boucher insists coal miners have nothing to worry about. There will be no job loss associated with this measure, Boucher said.
Looks like I need to come up with some more "Brooklyn bridges," and "ocean front property in Nebraska," cons to fund my retirement.

This is what “the debate is over, the science is settled” means in actuality: They are not going to argue the merits of cap and trade. They are simply going to lie, and lie, and lie.

When was the last time a liberal was honest about the probable outcome of a liberal policy? Would Boucher be willing to stake his job on what he is saying? If he is wrong, he quits Congress.

Ole Rickey boy is going to be in Wytheville, Va the 11th. of July to pump his cause. He sure is going to get a load from me. He is/was a Lawyer in private life. I am going to ask him if he ever signed a legal docket without reading it. I want him to convince me that cap n trade, medical, and other big bail outs are required. I want to know why he is helping the messiah socialize America. It's time to get pissed and I am mad and am not going to sit on my hands while he and his other lackey's destroy my country.

The cost of this program when it is fully implemented in the middle years of the next decade would be less than the cost of a postage stamp per day for the typical American family, Boucher said. At the current rate a postage stamp will also be unaffordable in ten years. Do these people really believe the crap they spout.

His district is SW Virginia from Roanoke to the Cumberland Gap. This is purely coal country. Boucher has betrayed the people of the 9th District in the worst possible way.

I live in Tennessee right across the state line from Boucher’s district. Most of my family lives in his district. I wish the heck that they could get rid of him somehow. For some reason he keeps getting re-elected time after time even though his voting record is clearly against what the average Southwest Virginia resident believes in. He is going to have some competition in the next election. I met a man at the Bristol Tea party in April that was looking for support in his run against Boucher. His name is Jim Bebout and he is from Marion. I know nothing about this man, but, at this point almost anyone looks better than this liberal jackass Boucher.

I guess they figure we can’t read...
(2) A covered EGU that is initially permitted after
January 1, 2009, and before January 1, 2020, shall, by
the applicable compliance date established under this
paragraph, achieve an emission limit that is a 50 percent
reduction in emissions of the carbon dioxide produced by
the unit, as measured on an annual basis. “
So new units will have to sequester half of the CO2 emissions. With unproven technology and unknown costs...
So who’s gonna build these plants?
