HOWEVER...
When you go to the free TV channels (or the paid channels, for that matter) the only choices for what passes for news is CNN, MSN and MSNBC. No FOX, no FBN, no mention of the one cable news network that out pulls all three of them together.
The link is above. If you travel a lot, or you would just like yo let this guy know there are people who might not use his airline until he makes it freindly towards ALL travelers, it might just change. If you care about things like this, drop them a line and let them know you would like to have access to another point of view or some reliable business news.
If you don't care to write, but are considering flying, consider that they think you and your opinions and comfort are not very important, before you book.
If we don't flex a monetary muscle these people will not care about changing anything...but Branson is a dope, not a fool and I think we can help make an impression. Just a quick line that we want to feel welcome might make them re-think the atmosphere.
Thanks.
Companies that act liberally like this get none of my business. Some also speak publicly about their liberal philosophies such as jetBlue, Progressive Insurance (both with names tying back to Democrats), GE (for so many reasons including the promotion of “green” anything, slavish devotion to 0bama despite the truth, etc.) and others. After the 2000 election there were websites that listed the biggest “red” and “blue” contributors. If such websites continue to exist with updated lists, I want to know so that I can be informed who I should support and who I should curse.
I've been contemplating the principle behind this.
Do I share responsibility for the actions of those with whom I do business? If I have paid money to fly JetBlue or if I use Progressive insurance, am I guilty of supporting their agendas?
I'm not entirely settled on a conclusion just yet.
One thought: Jesus (miraculously) paid the required tribute to Caesar. (Matthew 17:24-27) Did that act make Jesus even partly guilty of Caesar's actions?
More pondering is needed. So far, I don't agree with the idea though.
