Vice President Joe Biden is expected to announce Wednesday that three major hospital associations have agreed to provide as much as $160 billion in savings to pay for a health care overhaul, according to sources close to the negotiations.This statement is utter nonsense! What are the hospital associations promising, reduced costs? What are the assumptions? What data were used? What methodology to be able to say "as much as?" How can Biden back up this assertion?
Our health care system, IMO, is badly broken and in desperate need of repair via free enterprise, not more government intervention.
